What knife did you carry today?

Been carrying my recently acquired grey Spyderco Paramilitary. Best knife I own by far.

mmm Love the paramili...not Lefty friendly though.

The Paramilitary has the compression lock, not the liner lock, no? That's way more lefty friendly than the Military.

Also, welcome back dude, haven't heard from you in a while.

Kershaw Blur. Slim but fits well in my hand, sturdy, well-made, and SpeedSafe.

A Zero tolerance 350 is on its way

Would carry this too:

Been edc'ing the od-1 for awhile now and still liking it. Not sure how other Kershaw blades are but the od-1 is VERY easy to sharpen.

I just ordered a recon 1 tanto and half serrated

As a humorous aside: I once dropped a Cold Steel Recon fixed blade on my foot. I had it out of its sheath and was checking it out. It slipped out of my hand and hit my foot point first. Anyone that's held one of those bad boys will appreciate. They're pretty heavy.

i like my gerber the mil issued to me with a box cutter tip, real good for slashing at arteries or goin straight to the point and stabbin the kidnies or spillin guts.

I did this with a Kris blade I'd recently forged and was spinning in my palm. I remember the "slow motion" effect as it slipped away and turned over once and hit the big vein on the top of my foot; which was in sandals at the time. Let me tell you, a foot wound bleeds far, far more than one expects. I had my foot in the tub under cold water for about 15 minutes before I could get it bandaged.

Every day.

That Kershaw is beautiful. What model is it? It looks a lot like the ZT knives.

OK, just checked on the Kershaw website and they say it's discontinued. Any idea of a vendor that still sells it?

Model name is Needs Work. Walmart still sells them for $35.
