What knife did you carry today?

I'm EDCing my ESEE Izula 2 for the first time at work today; I've had it attached on my bag forever as an extra, just-in-case knife, but I've never actually carried it around on my belt before today. I was in a rush going out the door today and strapped it onto my belt once I got to work, it's pretty decent but not as "enjoyable" as EDCing a folder. It's a small enough size that it doesn't seem to draw as much unwanted attention as I thought fixed blade carry would have, which is good. I've used it as a light duty cutter before and have no doubt about it's ability, I'm just experimenting with carry today and it's not bad.

Essentially grinding it down is a form of annealing unless certain measures are taken.

I'm good man. Been doing this for 15 years. I never let a pre-tempered piece change color during the grinding/ shaping and used files when it got close to the final lines or thickness, and do some basic tests before giving it to the customer.
 
I don't carry a knife all the time... not a great idea for personal defense.

Should get this in the mail tomorrow. Kershaw OD-1. My first kershaw blade. I was going to get the leek but I wanted something that wasn't assisted opening. I know some guys on youtube have said that the framelock isn't tight enough on the OD-1 but I got to check one out the other day(the electrician who came to our office had one).

Cold Steel AK47 with the Tri Ad lock, its my everyday carry. I love G10 handled/scaled EDC knives. Any other handle material besides G10 is inferior in my opinion.

And honestly, i wouldnt fuck with any of the older Cold Steels that dont have the tri ad locks, the older locks do fail under normal stress. The Tri Ad locks are literally as close as you can get to a fixed....without being a fixed.

Got my od1 today. Overall the knife is pretty good. Razor sharp and quick deployment using the flipper. The lockup is nice and tight. But yeah, the blade retention really stinks.
 
A buddy of mine got a knife from surefire. I've got to say for a company that primarily makes flashlights the knife is pretty bad ass. Nice balance, sharp as hell, easy to deploy.
 
Just getting into knives. Used to have some folders, springblades and butterfly knifes when I was a kid.

Don't know how to sharpen them but allready bookmarked some topics here.

I have an el cheapo fixed blade that I only take with me on hikes.

And I actually found a picture of my folder I carry around most of the time:

Opens quick and has a sharp point :P
