What knife did you carry today?

I never heard of those, if you get one, a short review would be nice!

I will soon get my ESEE 4 and a Spyderco Paramilitary 2. I also bought a Mercharness for the days I can't carry a folder and have to wear a blazer...

Lovely.

So far I really dig it. It's nice and sharp, the G10 is very grippy, it's surprisingly light and flicking it open is addictive. The only thing I'm worried about is the tip, as I'm really scared of breaking it. It probably won't happen...
I'm used to EDCing my ZT0300, so currently I'm thinking "Oh no, where's your knife?!" a lot. It's definitely a keeper.

And the compression lock is pretty nice. I'm a little surprised...

The tip can be pretty delicate. Obviously you wouldn't want to pry with it or drop it on its tip but the blade toughness is underrated. There's a vid on YouTube where a guy really pounds on it through tree branches and stuff.

I've been rotating through my Emersons. I used my commander to break down a massive accumulation of cardboard at my dad's house the other day. It got the job done but my FFG endura and Super Leaf handle cardboard much better.

When I give a shit about cutting in straight lines, that's when I won't pick an Emerson.

Don't forget what EKI G10 does to your pockets.

I was lucky with that...My three main EDC-blades are my 0300, my Emerson Super CQC-8 and from now on my PM2. The G10 ain't my main concern when it comes to pants...

I got this old-school German pocket knife as birthday present for a friend, and besides being the most hipsterific knife there is, it's just bad. The blade is way off-centered, it's not sharp and there's chunking already...German "Handwerk" my ass.

Just an old buck my uncle gave me that he picked up off the side of the road around 13 years ago.

Nice knives.

But what do you guys use them for? Unless your job requires one, I don't see why you'd need to carry one all day, every day. I've existed for a long time and have never had a need for one.

I have a desk job, I use a knife almost daily.

Been carrying my commander this week. Heavy knife but I've gotten used to the weight.

Not trolling. It is a legitimate question. I genuinely want to know. I don't live in the US and knives are banned here.

Talk about sensitive. Toughen up princess.
