What knife did you carry today?

I'm assuming its titanium handled? What kind of steel is the blade?

yep full ti framelock. Apparently, he was doing D2 and 3v at one point. When i emailed him last (about a month ago) he was offering CPM s90v.

He has some cool options. Standard thumbstud, or a flipper version(which you can go with or without added thumbstud), and now he has a triangular hole version.

For the handles you can get custom milling, or micarta inlays in a variety of colors. I think ive even seen some damascus blades floating around. word is he'll do just about anything if you have the money for it

like so. im not much on this blade shape but it shows options nicely. or just check out the website http://www.calaveracutlery.com

loving this knife. feels good in my hand and have been carrying it on me since it showed up.

toting a blue delica 4 for the past week. not my pic but same knife. been years since i had a delica. really great little utility knife, and the newer style FFG blades are great. i wasnt/am not a fan of the saber/scandi grind in general.

Excellent choice.

The delica is a true classic.

I have an FFG Endura in blue.

im going to have to grab an endura again. i had one a few years ago and sold it to buy other shit.

I had a sweet sprint run WHITE delica, sold that and now they dont seem to exists any more

come to think of it, I've sold so many knives i wish i still had......i think im done doing that though. the sebenza cured my desire for expensive knives and im back to looking at more affordable options. plus, i took a small loss on most of the sales so i dont want to waste any more money

for giggles, what i can remember selling in the past few years:

spydie white delica
spydie endura
spydie pm2
spydie sage 2
spydie persistence

Benchmade 530

ZT 0550
ZT 0560

GEC orange bullnose

SOG aegis

K-bar large heavy bowie

CRK small sebenza

man i wish i had all that stuff still.......

I got a Kershaw Cryo this week. It has Speed Safe AO and frame lock. Pocket clip is adjustable to any carry position. Designed by Rick Hinderer.
It fits my hand well and feels very solid.

The Para Millie is a sought after piece these days.

yeah the price was already spiking when i bought it. paid about 140. now its looking more like 170+ on ebay if you can snag a non-sprint version. kicking myself.

though, supposedly there will be an influx of them again, last i heard. Spyderco just has a hard time keeping up with demand of their most popular knife, especially since its made in the the US factory

Local place I order from had about 20 come in a few weeks ago. By the time I got home they were all sold out.

Basic satin blade with digi camo handle.

Problem I have with my collection is that all of my knives (with the exception of a SAK climber and Endura) are g10 and they absolutely destroy the pockets on my jeans.

I've been carrying the Cryo for a while now, it's a great knife.
Next for me is a ZT 0300...

Absolutely. It's even bigger than I thought, but I love it. I just can't stop flipping it...

The torsion bar on my 0350 broke. The knife was still usable but I sent it back to ZT and they replaced the bar.

Now I'm thinking about de-assisting it and having it as a manual flipper instead.

Due to legality-issues or just because you prefer manual flippers?

By the way, what do you guys use to sharpen your knives?

Spyderco Tenacious, best EDC for urban purposes.

Just prefer manual flippers.

I use a Sharpmaker to sharpen all of my blades.
