start with a question then get into it.

hey, do you guys like vacations? I am on one now. where and what do you like to do for a summer vacation?

let them know what you are doing

I am heading up to Saratoga NY this weekend. Some friends and I are renting out a house for the weekend. Going to BBQ and swim in a lake and go to the track. They also have a casino up there. Its going to be a pretty chill vacation. Probably hit up a brewery or two as well

Ask them what they do for a summer break

What do you guys do for a summer vacation? I enjoy traveling, seeing the world, but sometimes I just want a chill vacation thats only a few hours drive ... Sometimes traveling and dealing with the airport can be a hassle.

See if they noticed you said chill vacation two times like some kind of hippy

anyways feel free to talk all things summer vacation in here. where was you favorite vacation and what did you do?

I’ve forgotten what life was like before kids and I can’t say I enjoy our package holidays to the usual haunts of Tenerife or Almeria (Spain) are my bag

But a couple times in the year we always head to the Lake District (Cumbria) Bowness, Ambleside and Grassmere
It’s only an hour and half drive and as soon as we arrive we always wonder why we don’t come more often
The camp site we stay is right on Lake Bowness and my eldest (4) has so much fun thinking he’s fishing in the lake and building little dams
Really calming place and instantly makes you forget all the bad shit going on

No kidding. If I want to go hiking or camping I drive an hour into the mountains or desert. If I want to go to the beach, I drive 15 minutes to the west.

Just had two weeks vacation and spent it all up north at my cottage with the family. It was perfect.

Fully nude beach full of fit college aged girls to successful hot career women.

There's some great spots out East.. in the Summer at least. My gf is from upstate NY so we go out there once a year to visit her family. We're thinking about doing the AirBbB rental thing on the Finger Lakes next summer. There are some great spots up in the Catskills too. I just fucking hate the cold so we avoid going back around the holidays if possible.

I hope you have a nice vacation!

For me I guess, spending time with people I love and trying to make sure they feel that love.

lol ok. any places you recommend to eat? or any must see things., I have been before but just a day trip to the track, so staying a few days this time

San quentin, bullpen, telling jokes with 4 other guys

I had to go to Bridgeport, CA up in the High Sierras for a week in June, it was snowing everyday (I shit you not). II've been sent there 6 times in five years for work, it's in the middle of nowhere but it is truly serene nature

Granted i was there for work, but the days are super light so i'm really just chilling and checking out the various sites like Bodie Ghost Town, Virginia Lakes, Golden Gate Mill mine, Yosemite, etc...
Basically i get sent here

man it has been a long time ago. we went to horse races which was pretty cool. we always went to lake george for some reason. not that far away but was a good time. i think it was saratoga that had a decent bar/restaurant scene. live music and such. there's a college up there

i'm talking like late 80's man, but i would think it is stll a good time. i've never had a calzone as good as up there
