What is your GOAT list now?

what about fedor who fought in ped abusing org?
then gets humiliated in a drug tested org?
what about gsp who only fought in steroid era of the ufc?
then refuses to fight in usada era

Low iq real life impoverished third world villager

Jones resume is not absurd.

Compare Jones first 31 fights (thats all he has) to Fedors first 33

Fedor had more top 10s and ATG wins that Jon

If Jon's resume is absurd at 31 fights then Fedor is godly
Who are those all time greats? Beside the Nog and Cro Cop wins Fedor resume is mighty thin.
Undersized Arona in a close fight?
Undersized Sobral?
Future great kickboxer but then very mediocre takedown defender Schilt?
Gatekeeper Hearing?
0.500 fighter Gary Goodridge?
All time awful submission defence Coleman and Randleman?
Hunt in the middle of a 6 fights first round finish losing streak including two middleweights?
Middleweight Linland?
Glass chinned Sylvia two fights removed from getting dominated by an old undersized Couture, and who would get KO in 9 seconds in his next fight against by 48 years old Ray Mercer?
Arlovski, who was winning most of the fight until he made a massive blunder?

Yeah, i expected you to know this, lol.

I don't feel comfortable calling any division shitty, because i have a lot of respect for all fighters, but 205, especially since USADA came around, is not a stellar division, but at the very least, 135, 145 and 155 are aeons above it.
In my opinion the heavier divisions are not as "great" as the lower divisions is because guys of normal to heavier size have so many more options in terms of sports they can compete in. Not only the option of having different sports, the money they can potentially make in those sports being vastly superior to anything MMA at the entrance level can offer. Additionally, potentially a free 4 year education.

Let me add real context since your being so disingenuous

Arona and Babalu (both ATG) are both similar size to Fedor which shows how impressive Fedor is p4p
Coleman & Randleman are both former HW champions and we're still top 10 at the time.

Hunt and Schilt are both combat legends and ATGs. Hunt while aging and losing his chin was top 10 in the UFC and even beat some current top 10s, again while he was old and losing his chin. Fedor fought him when he was younger with chin in tact.

Herring was top 5 at the time

Tim was 1 fight removed from a title fight with Nog and top 10 at the time. Former champ

Arlovski was in the midst of his greatest run and at his Absolute peak. Ranked #4 at the time. Former champ

Crocop was top 3 at the time. He's an ATG/legend who became OWGP champ while on the decline. His Absolute peak was when he fought Fedor

Big Nog was #1 then #2 when they fought and Nog was at his Absolute peak at the time. Was pride champ and another ATG & legend

Brett Rogers was top 10 at the time

Between top 10s, ATGs/legends he fought 12 over his 1st 33 fights before being defeated. He didn't legitimately lose over the span of 33 fights which all happened within 10years while being undersized. That is actually an insane strength of schedule. Especially considering that the fights dont cause most of the wear and tear. Its the training.

So now let's be disingenuous about Jones in the same way you were about Fedor.

Bader- tuf noob who lost to old tito in that same year
Shogun- old past his prime. Still good but this was after his 3rd knee surgery which happened less than a year prior and was visibly never the same
Rampage - old and declining
Machida - good win
Rashad - post injury/surgery was visibly never the same

You wanna talk about middleweights?
How about Vitor and Cahel who were both career MW at the time. Chael probably wasnt even a top 10 MW at the time LOL

1 dimensional Gustafsson in which Jones needed a gift decision
Glover - decent wins but Gliver was also already old

Maybe you think OSP was a good win? LMFAO

DC- good win but DC like Glover were much older than him

Smith, Reyes, Santos - seriously? LMFAO

Gane- basically a lesser version of Schilt LOL

Smith is a can, Reyes can, Santos very injured in the fight. Yet he needed gifts to get the nods against Reyes and Santos. And with Smith he needed to cheat. Easily would've been a DQ loss.

So in summary Jones has 3 good wins and 2 were vs guys much older than him, not in physical prime. He beat some legends that were all past their prime 2 of which were career MW.

Its taken him 17 years to do this.

Arona and Babalu (both ATG)
It always amazes me how underrated the Arona win is.

That Rings match was pretty much a submission grappling match, and Arona was one of the best submission grapplers on the planet at the time - that was bang in the middle of his unbeaten ADCC domination. Fedor being able to sneak out a narrow win was incredibly impressive.

How would Jones do in a submission grappling match against Kaynan Duarte or Gordon Ryan?

After the retirement of a GOAT candidate how does your list look?

For me. I only rank by resume. So I have

1. Jones (if you want to DQ for steroids I understand, i just kinda assume they all are. But Jones's resume is absurd)
2. GSP
3a. Fedor
3b. Khabib
5. Anderson

Khabib-Fedor is crazy close imo

Because you kinda get into a Peak wins (Fedor-Cro Cop, Nog, etc. vs Khabib-Conor, Justin, Dustin etc.) and also wins over time which Khabib didn't lose, while Fedor had a tough last quarter of his career post prime.

How do you guys have it?

Ummm what?!

Yes sir!

Arona was the grappling boogeyman at the time.

That Arona would give Gordon Ryan a run for his money today IMO

Fedor.
He sits at the top of the mountain. Though if someone said GSP, they are not wrong and make a great point.

Jones and Andy go into the category of Barry Bonds or Pete Rose, they cheated.

Khabib is very over rated. No big wins and then quit. What is his legacy? Beating that overrated Irish drunk.
Anderson Silva cheated?

JDM automatically deserves to be no.1 for beating Belal.

people rate Fedor? how good was his resume seeing as he never fought in UFC?

Jones
Fedor
Anderson
GSP
Mighty Mouse
Aldo
Cormier
BJ
Nunes
Matt Hughes

As for the list, anyone that has anything other than
1/2. Jones/fedor
3. Johnson
4. Silva
5. GSP
Is wrong and stupid.
