I just had rigatoni stuffed with braised short rib....was amazing. Wife had eggplant ravioli, also amazing. My all time fav is a rigatoni alla vodka with shrimp and prosciutto.

I love my girls cooking but her lasagna is awful. It's bizarre. She doesn't use tomato sauce just canned tomatoes. Apparently that's how her mother made it. Everytime she makes it she says "maybe I should have used sauce". Drives me nuts.

Olive Garden? I'm not a big fan of that place. All of the ones I've been to, I've been highly disappointed. Aside from the breadsticks, their dishes aren't that good.

I know Italians hate us Americans adding chicken to pastas, but my favorite by far is a good Alfredo penne pasta with chicken. There was local restaurant called Spoleto which was a Brazilian pasta restaurant that made the best Alfredo penne pasta with chicken.
