Even though I voted for Obama I never really started turning my back on the GOP until this time. Not because of the census, even though you make a lot of sense here I had no idea then that things would get this bad, but because that's when the Tea Party chose dysfunction and shutdowns instead of making concessions to the Party in power and biding their time for their turn to regain the WH.

The "tea party" was the messaging/virtue signalling wing of the process, but the logistics came first

I might be wrong but I don't think I'm confused. IMO the GOP under it's current leadership is toxic. I don't know how to save it, it seems since Trump came along anyone I would vote for is considered a RINO, but I don't see Vance being any different than the Tea Party/Freedom Caucus members that have subjugated themselves to reap power under Trump’s leadership.

I know in some parts of the country Trump’s GOP will have an iron grip, at least until he finally sees his day in court, but the vast majority of Americans are going to rebuff the party since even with Trump in jail his family is entrenched in the party leadership. In my view a best case scenario will be if this somehow leads to a third party being recognized nationally.

not sure what you want. I only said the boys were around the assault, that sounds to me like fact. They were groping the woman, they were there when she was raped.

Trump has been asked if he's changed their minds insofar as the boys guilt, he hasn't. The cops involved haven't either.

Those who oppose him are absolutely infatuated with him, and I see that on the other side of the world so I can only imagine what America is like.

what is even funnier about @Madmick citing this terribly written (i guess i can see why he likes it) op-ed is that it ignores facts and political outcomes we can see with our eyes. The author is attempting to say that the GOP is 100% trump's party now and that anyone who disagrees with trump is not a true republican. oh wow, he came up with the idea of RINO all by himself in 2024! Yeah, if you include every single candidate of inconsequence he has a great record. Literally dozens of incumbents in deep red areas that no one has heard of. Those aren't the failed endorsements I meant. I assumed such an intellect as yourself would understand that but maybe I need to write at a more elementary level in order for you to keep up?

It's not really something i pay attention to until someone brings it up.
