I think his knee never healed properly and still bothers him

Damn Ohio homes are inexpensive.... I live in west LA but even houses in South Central LA are at least double that.
Damn South Central is that much these days. Is there a lot of new development? I thought the same thing when he said the Ohio house prices. That gets you a one bedroom condo where I live.

Also does anyone know for sure that he is still an agent? Is he upstate NY because a ton of people are moving out of NYC. Gotta be hard to close a sale there these days. I think there apartments are like 32% empty or some shit. Do live there so can't confirm but i've heard they've had serious flight out of the city.

Yea South Central home prices have steadily been going up over the years. There has been a lot of gentrification and development in that area. New restaurants shopping centers and train lines have added to the median home prices and crime has gone down. LA as a whole though is priced crazy, I live in west LA and single story homes 3bed+2.5 bath are starting over a mill. It’s gotten out of control. I am just blessed that my career treats me well but it worries me about everyone else out here....it’s hard to stay afloat in this city if your not making well over six figures.

He was and still is one of the more overated fighters ever.

The dude is only decent against wrestler and old mens

Sounds like you guys are on the UPs and where I'm at is on the decline. Lots of money in my city, but crime and homelessness rising rapidly. Massive homeless population here, a lot of it is drug use, but also people being priced out of their homes. Area is going to shit to be honest. It's so fucking liberal the local paper will write articles about how it's offensive when the city pressure washes homeless feces off the sidewalk. We apparently are being inconsiderate of the homeless people's feelings and not making them feel welcome because we don't let their shit pile up. I wish I was joking. Commies have ruined this town, and I'll be gone within a years time.

He lives in New York. If he sells a home for $1,000,000 and gets a 2.5 percent commission that’s $25,000 per sale.

12 houses in one year is $300,000 USD.

And I don’t think home buyers will punch him in the face.

He doesn't sell million dollar homes. His closings average less than $400,000. And he does around 7 closings per year. Also, he doesn't take home 2.5% commission because the brokerage he works for takes a percentage of the commission and charges desk fees and transaction fees.

he's busy setting up yair's narco distribution biznezz in the NY area, that's why both of them haven't been active in the ufc lately

How so? Genuine question.
He talked about how when he was fighting, with the cost of camp etc, if he lost he basically was breaking even. On a good year I'm guessing he was lucky to break 100K. NY real estate is really expensive and you can make bank if you're good at selling it.

This pretty much. He's definitely overhyped skillwise just because he went to a decision with Khabib, solid thing to do but it's probably what he's known for most. His biggest moment in MMA is a loss still.

If he's making money selling houses good for him though.

Seattle?

Same in my area. I’m actually looking into getting my real estate license now for a side thing. A friend of mine is absolutely killing it and selling everything in our area.

Are you willing to kill your friend, though? That seems like the only way going forward. :|

If he can sell 10 houses a year he’s earning way more money than mma without getting punched in the face.

This is an underrated post.
People don't realise just how poor of a career choice MMA is, unless you are a top-5 guy / have a good contract.
Earning < 100K / year for destroying one's brain cells / face / body is a shit deal. And for how long? Most guys stop by the time they reach 35. What do you do after that?

It's weird - he was all over the place after he beat Fighter Kevin Lee. Then had a disapointing showing then just vanished. Oh well...
