Are you trying to arouse the foot fetish people? Or foot fish fetish which is even kinkier.

He lives in New York. If he sells a home for $1,000,000 and gets a 2.5 percent commission that’s $25,000 per sale.

12 houses in one year is $300,000 USD.

And I don’t think home buyers will punch him in the face.

Please. Making alot of assumptions. He lives and works in Long Island. Average cost of a home there? $500K, not $1MM. That drops your estimated earnings for him significantly.

Second, you don't seem to know what he makes for the UFC. He made a reported $83K in his loss to Hooker last October. That's his pay just to show up and lose. He's a good fighter, so you can probably expect him to win at least once if he fights twice a year. That would be over $250K just to go 1-1 every year. He's also an entertaining fighter who regularly gets POTN bonuses, so throw another $50K on that.

Yea, he probably makes a decent six figure salary working real estate, so he can afford not to fight...but he doesn't make more than if he fights. Oh, and then there's that whole COVID thing, which has been especially bad in his part of the country. Probably wants to limit his risk of exposure and doesn't have the ability to train like he would like.

He's not retired for a reason, he makes good (better) money if he fights.

Same in my area. I’m actually looking into getting my real estate license now for a side thing. A friend of mine is absolutely killing it and selling everything in our area.

when covid goes away, I’ll be back to my 2 weeks on, 2 weeks off work schedule so it’ll be something to occupy me in my spare time
What do you do now? I used to work 6 days a week 10hrs shifts Monday & Friday and 8 hr Saturday 58hr min a week. I haven't worked more than 32 hr a week since covid
Damn Ohio homes are inexpensive.... I live in west LA but even houses in South Central LA are at least double that.

Yeah dude LA is Bs. My home is 2400sq feet and I bought it for $170 its value is at $245 now but out by you it would easily be double.

Yea South Central home prices have steadily been going up over the years. There has been a lot of gentrification and development in that area. New restaurants shopping centers and train lines have added to the median home prices and crime has gone down. LA as a whole though is priced crazy, I live in west LA and single story homes 3bed+2.5 bath are starting over a mill. It’s gotten out of control. I am just blessed that my career treats me well but it worries me about everyone else out here....it’s hard to stay afloat in this city if your not making well over six figures.
...... My fuck...

I have a 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom home here, 15 year old home now, 10 when I bought it....... $160K lol

He's won 2 "of the night" bonuses during his entire UFC tenure so I don't think it's fair to include something he's barely ever received as part of his annual salary. Certainly doesn't "regularly get them"....

He was looking to fight Felder around August but Felder didn't take it.

Lol Leon gets punished al Iaquinta is still ranked. Such bullshit.

Leon is still ranked, he got it back when he signed on to face Khamzat.
Not sure if anyone is really clamoring to see an Iaquinta fight right now so maybe he slipped under the radar

.

I’m an industrial electrician who left for a new job at a remote mine in the Arctic. Used to be there 2 weeks then be home for 2 but I’m honestly not even sure if we’ll be back any time soon.

they cut the amount of people allowed on site in a 3rd and I need to quarantine for 5 days and take 3 tests, negative in my home province and then when I fly to work. There’s no room to quarantine because of lodging up there and stuff. The whole thing is just a mess and I may not qualify for unemployment because I left my last job for a new one.

Either way a 3% commission for just getting bsomeone buy a house is crazy. I live in Northeast Ohio and houses by me are going for $240-80 so that's at 3% you earn $7200-$8400 to basically do nothing. Not to shabby lol
We’re in the wrong line of work. We need a slick hair cut and a blazer so we can get some of that big easy.

The average is 6% commission per house sold actually.

That’s not going into a single agent’s pocket though. There might be both a buyer’s and seller’s agent, and just like fighters have trainers and training partners and other expenses, most real estate agents work through a company. They’re not netting 6% ever and in general they’re not netting even half that.

You also get less endorsements to be a real estate agent, although I’m sure Raging (relative) fame from MMA does create some opportunities in the real estate space that wouldn’t otherwise be there.

Probably telling people who boo him to fuck off still. Guy ain't taking no shit.

Lol. It’s not necessarily all that easy. Sales jobs are a grind, and most people don’t have the personality/psychological profile to stick with it long enough, enthusiastically enough, for it to bear serious fruit.

My first career had a significant sales component, which became a real drag for many of us. Constantly having to think about marketing your business at every dinner party or cook out or kid’s birthday party isn’t fun (for most people), but that’s what you need to do because in that sort of business many or even most of your sales will come from your “natural market” and the referrals you get from it, especially early on. It’s also not particularly fun to make 70% less money than the bimbo or meathead in the office down the hall who doesn’t know (or care) half as much as you might about houses, the market, financing strategies, etc., and that will absolutely happen (and 70% is nothing frankly).

With that in mind, I think the smart thing for Raging to do is to keep doing both (and if I’m not mistaken I think he’s injured right now, not purposely sitting out). A chunk of those real estate sales will fall into his lap anyway (training partner, friend’s sister, mother’s co-worker, etc.), and the exposure from having 2-3 fights a year and a few dozen media appearances can make up for some of the lost grinding. Ideally he’d start a small agency and partner up with a few people who know what they’re doing and/or are young and hungry, which would allow him to get out there and do his thing. Personally I don’t see Raging as the kind of guy who will want to spend the next 30 years grinding at what will become a pretty boring job, so turning this into a semi-passive income stream seems like the move. I could see Al doing media at some point, he’s always funny on Helwani or wherever else.

No excuse. It's crazy they're throwing islam at rda, meabwhile al iaquinta is just there taking up a precious spot he should have lost after losing to dan hooker. It's bullshit. And sure, leon got his ranking back, but in exchange for khamzat? Plus they humiliated him by doing so as well.

Making better money than he gets from Uncle Goof without worrying about his health. He's said he doesn't need to fight and will only take fights he finds interesting.
