What Glory should do to win the fans?

I think Glory needs better fight commentary, it's just so cringeworthy way too often.

I love threads like that because everybody who has even a basic knowledge of what they're talking about knows that CK is trolling, but the armchair analysts who are actually extraordinarily ignorant or slow see the posts and it gives them the confidence to embarrass themselves.

They periodically get Mauro, who is one of the most prolific commentators out there. Valtalini isn't bad. Kruck on the other hand tries his best but his enthusiasm comes off so generic and forced.

CK used to be an annoying troll but now (Chicken Fighter) seems to be a parody account, kind of funny once you realize it to be honest. Also, he is saying the same stuff as some of the troll/mocking posts of serious f42 posters.

they're wasting their time.... americans like cage fighting and boxing. they dont care for kickboxing. plus glory water down their events to a dumbed down audience.

Valtellini is good as a side commentator as he has the knowledge. But the other guy needs to be replaced, not only his enthusiasm is forced but he just doesn't bring any value to the commentary, be it excitement or knowledge.

Honestly, given that there doesn't seem to be mods who are fans of kickboxing its probably hard for them to contextualize some of the trolling statements. Guy posted in here last time after Chicken mentioned Dos Anjos (an MMA fighter)
 
I met a mod in another forum and he said he rarely posts in f42. I was almost snitching to him but went "meh"...who cares, let them troll.

If Chicken Nugget gets out of hand, he will get the boot like his previous accounts. We've gotten much better mod attention since the forum switch. Trolls have been banned, and we even have proper stickies now.
 
trolls arent a real problem for me,because when i see someone doing the "noble art" i just click on the option that hide his messages from me eyes

In fairness, those events aren't show on tv in North America nor are they broadcast in English. You can't expect many North Americans to get interested in watching an obscure stream in Chinese language in the middle of the night with fighters they know almost nothing about. Glory is by far the most high profile kickboxing organization and they have a tv deal and English speaking commentators.

Not only does Kunlun have the best fighters, but they also put on good fights consistently. The problem with glory is the divisions are shallow and fighters only fight like twice a year.

Very true, but the same thing can be flipped for non-English geographies. Glory the default top org for Americans and presumably Europeans, but its virtually unknown in Japan (not sure about China). K-1 gets the bulk of the coverage by fight media here and the Chinese orgs have some higher profile fights reported, but I haven't seen an article on Glory since 2014-2015 or so.

glory is trash..... Bellator kickboxing is D-level. true kickboxing fans watch obscure chinese/ european events.

I honestly wish Glory would stop watering themselves down to appeal to beer drinking dumb americans.
