what fighter fan base you don’t understand?

Japanese MMA fans would often tell me that Japanese fighters were more honorable and not thugs like their foreign counterparts...
but generally speaking this is true. Not just Japanese fighters but East Asians as a whole (Japan, Korea, China), they are generally not trash talkers or troublemakers.

Jon Jones, Conor, and Salty Shawn O'Malley.
Jon is a POS IRL, Conor is a POS IRL and a washed up fighter, and Salty is a One trick pony that gets smashed by a grappler or leg kicks.

I wouldn't say I don't understand it but Colby's fanbase is the most bizarre to me. Boring style, barely fights and ducks his peers.. as a fighter there is just nothing appealing about him but I realize all of that is irrelevant to his fans, even if they won't admit it

Mousasis fanbase.

They aren't the largest fanbase around but they are by far the strangest.

She was somewhat cute/all american look so I get it. I never agreed with it but I understand it.

She might have never been the best, but that kid is tough as nails sir.
She never ducked anyone, broke her arm, came back to fight again....still didn't duck anyone.

Look up her brother

the recent surge of Yair fans is puzzling to me. like people completely forget the reasons no one liked him not long ago

O'malley. Unless you're a degenerate millenial who doesn't mind sharing his girl with other guys, I can't fathom how you can be a fan of that poodle.

Adesanya. Great fighter, unbearable personality / dog molester (with a video to prove it) / a lot of racist or gay innuendos. I've seen assholes on To Catch A Predator that were more likable than this guy.

Fans that support fighters guilty of PEDs and claim those fighters to be great, acting like the cheating wasn’t unethical and stained their career. Tainted victories with an asterisk beside their career but some fans ignore this.

I think its pretty easy to get, he jumps in the air, spins and kicks people in the head.

And now he's successful too.

To an extent GSP. All time great. No disrespect. But I get the impression a lot of his fans on the forums didn’t watch him fight in his prime.

He was boring. Really boring. Never went up in weight. Greasy. So boring. Couldn’t finish anyone even Dan Hardy. Extremely boring. He just won a lot of rounds. I don’t know why his fan base is so sensitive.

Like he should have fans it’s just the way the fan base behaves that confuses me.

Surely the obvious no. 1 answer is the Cult of the Contards?

Still trying to talk with his salty balls in their mouth when he hasn't won a relevant fight in about a decade.
