So to summarise if the world was inhabited by just one "race", then we'd discriminate based on belief system, or country, or height, or hair colour or anything else that separates 'us' from 'them'.

Racism (non violent) is natural and necessary for survival. That's why multiculturalism is a such a bad idea. People work better in their own little tribe. There's a better chance of peace and cooperation when people aren't jumbled up together.

But if elected, when Trump comes for our water because of your retarded consumption of a precious resource, I will hopefully be in enough of those "White Nationalists" to give them all a disease bred of pure hope for revenge.

I don't think racism implies that at all. Racism is very broad.

When people are of the same race they will discriminate on belief. When they have the same belief they will discriminate on race. Same belief and same race, then it will be wealth, or education, or politics, or postcode.

I'd also argue that racism is actually detrimental to human survival. Just ask Native Americans and Australian aborigenes. Finally, I'd argue that post WWII, when racism and racial/ethnic superiority have finally become publicly or officially illegitimate, the planet has actually been at its most peaceful and civilized that ever before in human history.

Yet again, no. This type of hate speech wouldn't have been dreamed of before the Obama administration. It seems the left creates racial divide for political gain/votes. You think these feelings didn't exist prior to the last 2, 4, or 8 years? That people who've spent the last 50 years complaining about racism and unequal treatment weren't as serious about it as they are now?

The only thing that has changed is that 10 years ago, people only talked to people they knew about how they felt. So if you didn't know someone who felt a certain way, you never had to experience their complaints. The internet means that people who are diametrically opposed on a world view can now engage in open debate, even if they never physically cross paths.

For people who were living in a bubble, it can certainly seem like things have suddenly gotten worse when all that's changed is how much of the world they're forced to experience.
