"someone with a guilty conscience putting both hands up". Yep, definitely couldn't think why else someone might put their hands up when approached by the police other than a guilty conscience.
Just watching this video. The guy initially was told to back up and refused which isn't the same thing as not being allowed to record.
he was on his porch lol. On his property.
Taxpayers on the hook for another one.
Point taken. I don't know what the legalities are there. If you are on your property do you not have to respond to that request?
Why did he turn the dog on him that makes no sense.
Either the dog handler was trying to punish the guy because he thought that the guy being detained was the fleeing suspect, which would be absurd because the guy looked completely different and was wearing different clothes, or he's an incompetent handler who doesn't know how to control his animal.
Whatever the reason, the people in that city are going to pay out of pocket for it.
From 2015 but still relevant.
I'll tell you what the cops did wrong today. Motopig gave me a ticket for going 78 in a 65 and he was a real dick about it too. After he handed me the ticket I said "thanks" out of habit. Been kicking myself for that since, I was NOT thankful for getting it.
