Crime What did the cops do wrong today. Vol. 2

I don' know what happened before but the cops just clobbers him then tries to pick up the guy by his face. Then the cops just walks away.

Point taken. I don't know what the legalities are there. If you are on your property do you not have to respond to that request?

yeah i am not sure.
The cop also said get back not get back into the house. So his orders were also not clear. “I cant get back i have my back to the wall officer.”

they probably can order people away from the scene of the altercation but not sure if you’re sitting on your porch ha

Why did he turn the dog on him that makes no sense.

Either the dog handler was trying to punish the guy because he thought that the guy being detained was the fleeing suspect, which would be absurd because the guy looked completely different and was wearing different clothes, or he's an incompetent handler who doesn't know how to control his animal.

Whatever the reason, the people in that city are going to pay out of pocket for it.

Yea if was to guess I would say the dog got away from him. The guy deserves to get paid for this.

I'll tell you what the cops did wrong today. Motopig gave me a ticket for going 78 in a 65 and he was a real dick about it too. After he handed me the ticket I said "thanks" out of habit. Been kicking myself for that since, I was NOT thankful for getting it.

I'm sure his info is on the ticket right? Just reach out to him and clarify your position. "Dear Fuckface. Sorry...I mean officer Fuckface. Today you gave me a ticket and acted like a real jagoff. And when you gave me that ticket I said 'thanks' because I am generally a polite person and it's a habit. But when I said 'Thanks', what I really meant was that you should go dig a deep hole somewhere in the woods and then climb into it and never come out. Just wanted to make sure I didn't misrepresent myself to you, please fuck off and die."

Sincerely,
Poon Goon

Then report back here how getting that off your chest lifted your holiday spirits!

They have a saying " more then 9 and your mine" I thought everyone knows that.

Detroit police and DA's office took a good Samaritan who accidentally returned a credit card to the wrong person to trial with almost no evidence backing up that she was criminally at fault for the credit card being used by the person she gave it to.

DPD detectives continued questioning her after she clearly asked for an attorney.

The trial judge was so appalled at the lack of evidence that he didn't even let the jury deliberate and entered a summary acquittal after lecturing the DA's office for wasting everybody's time.

The Detroit DA's office defended this prosecution by demonstrating that they have no idea how the fifth amendment works or when a suspect is protected by invoking the right to an attorney.

The best part of the story is that DPD still hasn't caught the person who actually used the card to make a bunch of fraudulent purchases.
