Crime What did the cops do wrong today Megathread Vol. 6 ? (who knows, lots of cop threads)

Perfect encapsulation of how usless internal affairs investigations are.

This woman got arrested and detained for 72 hours due to mistaken identity for a warrant despite the fact that none of her details matched the person who had the warrant including her name. She's 20 years older, taller, has a different social security number etc.

When she was taken to the jail for intake, the jailers ran her ID and told the officer that she didn't have a warrant. He ignored them and demanded that she be booked anyway.

IA cleared him of wrongdoing and blamed the department who issued the warrant.

This arrest is pure comedy. Amazing how FFW officers have seemingly unending patience for this guy, and his CIA Daddy who ain't ever been in his life and that's why he drank:

I believe two bystanders and one of the cops also got shot so criticizing their methods seems warranted. However, the decision to start shooting appears justified to me.
Warranted if you value the chance you may be harmed over the safety of the public and your partner.

The unloaded on this guy without care of who was hit. They were even standing in each
other's crossfire. Modern policing.

Florida still stackin' them L's. This is the department that I got arrested by. But if you're a female I guess all you gotta be is "Jennifer" lol:

So the cop should let the guy stab him?

No shit there was crossfire, that's how one of the cops took a bullet. I already said their tactics were shit, but choosing to shoot was not.

Filming an officer who parked like an asshole and not licking boots will get you locked up.

@Sinister

Lmao. You are going to love this citizen's energy.

Oh man. I'd never go that far but Christ is that Sherff a p*ssy. That dude reminds me of a former roommate I had who was an Ex-Marine. Dude pulled over Cops all the time. He followed a Cop who made an improper lane change and told him off. You know how you sometimes see two Cops parked in opposite directions in the middle of a parking lot? Yeah he HATED that sh*t. He'd walk right up in the middle of them and demand to know why they were wasting time and money. One time behind a Blockbuster video he caught a Cop sleeping in his squad. David banged on his window and yelled at him to get back to work.

Imagine doing this to an EMT who has a patient. This cop doesn't need to be fired. He needs to be fired out of a cannon.

A Fort Worth PD officer got arrested for shooting an innocent driver off duty during a road rage incident.

The cop claimed that the driver hit him and then attempt to flee, but witnesses say that he was aggressively following the other driver and shot him for no reason.

This same cop was involved in a viral incident several years ago where he used unnecessary force to illegally arrest a woman and her daughter after they had called the police for help during a dispute with a neighbor.

That cost the taxpayers $150,000. The cop got a ten day suspension.

That last video: lol at "slammed her to the ground"

Ada County again. Disgraceful, and where I live. Endless bootlickers here too.

He tried to basically kill an innocent kid and never even detained him and didn't tell him he was under arrest.

Cops have a pathological need to prove they are simply above the average citizen, easily agitated by literally any line of questioning, and perfectly willing to escalate mundane situations that are even slightly uncomfortable to them:
