I even said Lopes by Finish either early or late...

Jean Silva have never meet competition at the level of Diego Lopes and it was a joke that he was favourite. Jean Silva beat an old Dober and Mitchell and never faced the leve of compettion Lopes has been competing with. This was a too early jump for him

It was a great fight. He got caught by a crazy strike. Coming back and dominating most of that 2nd round after that disaster of a 1st round actually shows how good and tough Silva is.

Im just worried about his mental state but he could easily come back from this and make a run for the title. Nothing in that fight showed he is not the fighter he is hyped up to be.

He didn’t put up with any of that clowns antics stuck to what he knows and caught him with something crafty. Oddmakers stayed wiping that dudes ass -230 favorite as he’s covered in blood after a 10-8 because he landed a couple of shots.

Anyone else would have been finished by those bombs, though.

All those strikes Silva landed in round 2, against a guy full of confidence after his perfect start? That was impressive to see imo.

Lopes inhuman skull structure really is a feature. And a great win for him, getting to show his toughness and durability.

Did people not watch the fight? I was super impressed with Silva and my opinion of him as a fighter rose after tonight. Although I would much more prefer it if he stopped being ultra reckless because he would be much better that way.

Strongly disagree that it was too early, at least not because of skill...maybe experience and handling 'big' moments. Jean was piecing Lopes up when he was fighting smart...his emotions and a couple of dumb decisions are what cost him this fight.

The spinning shit is entirely unnecessary and it was the reason Lopes got the TD in the 1st...and then getting reckless and chasing resulted in the finish.

If Jean would just have settled the fuck down and focus on using his skills instead of being a mad man, he likely would have knocked Lopes out, IMHO.

There was no way he was going to knock out Lopes bro. He ate everything Jean had in his arsenal and it was only down hill for Jean from there on. People don´t realize the kind of chin Lopes has. Not even a baseballbat will take that guy out.
