What are your criteria for liking a post?

- if I find it funny
- if I agree with it
- if I disagree with it but find it to be a compelling/clever argument (I've liked posts from both sides of a discussion before)
- if it's something deep and makes me think

I miss the older layout and have only used the like button once to test it out.

I usually like a post if it meets the following criteria:

1) I see it
2) I like it

I rarely give out likes. And that’s across any site. I might give out one like every 6 months.

I have to like the post, duh, and also approve of the poster.

I generally assign likes based on a few things.

• If It has a meme or photo I already know and amuses me; Simpsons and Star Trek are examples. Even If I dislike the body of a post it'll draw a like ... unless It's some raving lunatic garbage.

• If it insults me in a clever way or makes me wish I'd thought of it first, why not give it credit.

• Any sick burn in general

• Political posts that have individual points I agree with, or think that the argument was well presented no matter the position.

• Certain posters who are Overpressure-approved, who've proven they post quality often.

1) funny/stupid funny
2) intelligent/coherent
3) destructive trollery
4) meant to trigger Trump knob goblins

I don’t use the ‘like’ button at all.

I’ll quote a person usually if I like or don’t like a post.

Get it together homie

Only if its sincere. Whether I agree with it or not, if it represents someone's true feelings, it will get a like.

Pretty lax. If I crack a smile or agree with the post at all

Obvious reasons, like a good point, or something that makes me laugh.

In all honesty though, I forget it's there half the time.

If I find it entertaining/informative/really rustles some one else
