History has been quite kind to the twat in the hat(and people like Ian Brown and Bobby G from Primal Scream) I'd say, helped by actually having had good songs all along but its more the overly serious mopey indie rockers who looks dated and stolid now IMHO. By comparison I think a cartoon disco hippy is alot more interesting and he did do more than just disco/funk pop as well.
