What are the top 5 ugliest mma fighter styles of all time?

Gotta be Guida and Jardine for poster boys but yeah their have been some unique fighters over the years.

I think Derrick Lewis is a good contender for current guys, weird takedowns, really forceful and brutish BJJ , oddly athletic but mostly unnecessary kicks, and a slow ploddy conservative footwork that leaves you screaming at the t.v sometimes. Like is this dude really walking around for 2 rounds wasting everyone's time and then boom wills his way to victory with powerful accurate punches.

Koji Oshi against Nick Diaz. Dude didn't even try to keep his hands up and just kept getting tagged for it.

Good thread and write up. I’ve always liked Don’s style but i immediately understood what you meant by its ugliness.

I wouldn’t call it ugly but something about the way Valentina Shev fights makes me so bored. I dunno.

Cody who was denied an interview after winning, lmao

LOL!!!!

Cruz obviously a great shout, would be my #1 pick out of more famous fighters. Your description was spot on too.

Guida is another good pick. His ugly caveman style is just so herky jerky and scrappy.

I do quite like Guida though, it's amazing he's still going, and winning.

Surely Ryan Hall deserves a shout?

No particular order

1.Elias Theodoreau
His fight form is extra loosy goosey, similar to what a wet chicken would like like fighting. If go as far as to say he has a femenino way of throwing punches and moving his hips for kicks.

2. Dom Cruz
It works for him but it's frustrating because he dances and prances all around with his non economical, pillow fisted, no one punch ko having style. Has the body shape of a ferrit, long trunk with droopy ass shoulders, no lats. Just like Reyes.

3. Cindy Dandois
Typical soccer mom form, hair style, everything. Her pomp hairdo jumps every time she gets jabbed similar to a Mike Tysons punch out opponent.

4. Alex olynik
Hurky jerky old man style with no finesse. Movement seems labored, ugly hay maker boxing. If you ever wondered what a sloth would look like fighting, just watch one of his recent fights.

5. Nico price
Looks like a hangman/stick figure fighting with that awkward frame and extra pointy elbows and clavicles. Basically a coat rack. Moves around as if every limb on his body had a life of its own and he needs to concentrate extra hard to coordinate his movement.

Honorable mention to
Stiff Glover, Keith Jardine, Askren, Guida and I'm sure I left out many wmma fighters but who cares right
how dare you bash old man Oleynik! the man has 14 Ezekiel choke wins (most not in the UFC though) and neck cranked Travis Browne, so there's that.

I don't fully remember how his fight style was but... Koji Oishi. I only watched 1 fight of his in the UFC when he fought Nick Diaz and remember being mind blown that he was trying to block punches with punches... he lost.

I guess if you have a lot of time n your hands you can come up with a thread like this.....sure, lets talks about fighters styles to see who is the ugliest. Clearly, you respect any human that steps into the octagon for obvious reasons, that they might not walk back out with all their senses, so really?

This one was weird too

I remember that guy, he was like the first Arab Muslim cat I saw fight, I think he was sponsored by fila.he did a wild horse spinning back kick and ran the whole fight.

Way better thread than most Conor trash we see posted

That was strange AF. I swear - he was trolling all of us before trolling was even a thing.

Kyoji Oishi vs Nick Diaz is an absolute must see of WTF were they thinking style. The ending here just doens't do it justice.
