Airline Pilot

Airline pilot is not a high paying job anymore, at least not at first. Some of the older experienced guys make good cash, but some of the newer pilots are on food stamps. I'm not an expert on the field, just have read some articles. It's not like most people think.

Work up to a lineman with PG@E. The highest paid guys I know in my (generally poorer rural) area without a high school education are this. The other huge payday for blue collar guys is that underwater welder that Oeshon mentioned.
