I’ve been clocking in at all hours since high school, juggling multiple jobs. For me, the sweet spot is 6 AM to 2 PM. I’m currently rocking these hours at my job, and I absolutely love it! The third shift, from 11 PM to 7 AM, often gets a bad rap, but honestly, it’s fantastic, especially if you prefer avoiding “retarded” coworkers. The second shift, though? It’s like your energy just vanishes into thin air because your whole day is gone.

I would love to work two 20-hour shifts per week and have five days off!

Here’s a tip: save your bathroom breaks for work. After all, why waste your own time when you can take a shit and do it on the company’s dime? 🤔

Nothing more alpha than having a shit for 20 mins while Sherdogging and getting paid for it I agree. And I'd prefer to start early and finish early too, I'm a 9-5 white collar, really don't work too hard. I'm in IT, most people don't start until 10:30 or so

12 Hour Panama schedule

20 minutes only? Try like an hour at least twice a day.

I work for the government and there's a bunch of people on a good scam for "compressed hours" where they're meant to work 8am-6pm 4 days a week, most of these jokers are doing 9.30-3.30pm 4 days a week and getting paid for a full week.

Morning or night preferrably 4x a week, currently im on night shift

Evening sucks since you lose entire day

I usually do 07:30 to around 16:15 - 1630 with only 15 minute lunch breaks.

By the time Friday comes around, I've hit 40 hours by about lunchtime and have a two and a half day weekend. Seems like a pretty good schedule so far.

I've worked every shift, pretty much. Second shift is the worst. I worked 2PM-10PM for years and basically feel like those were wasted years of my life. Regret it immensely.

I work 4am-12 now. I like that much better.

i have one shift a week that starts at 1pm and i like that bc i can sleep in until 10 or 11. but hate getting home so late. throws my eating schedule off and when i go to bed im still too stimulated to fall asleep. so when i need to be up at 7 the next morning i hate life.

Oh yeah swing shift is terrible. Graveyard is also soul crushing. So glad I haven't had to do either for years.

With graveyard I pretty much just slept all day until it was time to go to work again. Swing shift I'd wake up and only have a few hours before I had to head into work so I never really got anything done in my off time and my days off consisted of me sitting around while my friends were all at work.

I liked 2nd shift better. I hate getting up in the morning early.

We have regular working hours but it's usually task based. I often start at 1 pm and call it a day at 5 pm. I've had weeks were I literally didn't do shit. If it gets busy, I'll work at 10 am until midnight but with about 4 hrs of downtime in between.

I used to work 7AM-2:30PM and it was the best. Avoided rush hour traffic, could hit the gym and grocery store after work with no crowds and still be home by 5 and have the rest of evening for myself.

We've got a super relaxed work environment, no timesheets or clocking in/out, just a honour system that you'll do your job and put the time in. Fridays are so quiet for me, that I consider myself to work a 4day week. In terms of hours/shifts, I prefer to do say 10am - 6pm, with a lunch break.

Exactly. While I was working ,all my friends were getting together having fun. The most exciting thing I could do when I got out of work was eat breakfast by myself, or if I felt really crazy, go grocery shopping by myself.

I should correct myself a bit. I do mostly regret that but the reason I stuck with that shift so long was to raise my daughter. I worked that shift because it was opposite my wife's shift so we literally never had to worry about daycare or baby sitters. I think thats one of the best things I ever did for my daughter, but for myself, it was horrible. I gave up a lot working that shift.
