Were you wrong to vote for Donald Trump or Kamala Harris is just a terrible alternative?

  • Yes I was wrong, I wish I didn't vote for Trump and voted for Kamala Harris instead.

  • I don't know.

I think both were very, very poor choices for what is supposed to be one of humanity's preeminent superpowers.

Just embarrassing choices. Trump is embarrassing, and I think she would have been too.

We shouldn't have to sift through garbage.. how is that the best we have to offer ourselves and the world?

Didn't vote, it's meaningless. Whether you lean to the left or right, whoever you vote for, it doesn't mean a fucking thing except being able to gloat for 4-8 years (What kind of win is that?) before you become part of the problem and vote once more.

I think America is doomed no matter what. Trump is a very mixed bag, maybe he extends our run, but not by much.

Harris on the other hand is complete garbage. She is a stupid whore, I mean that literally. She sucked the right dicks and had the right melanin levels and body parts between her legs when the Democrats went completely over the edge. They thought the most important thing they could do is appoint black women to the highest positions, regardless of competence.

The least horrific way to look at the Kamala Harris candidacy is that she would have been a toothless figurehead for the Deep State blob.

Kamala Harris is not a strong leader imo. So I understand why people had almost had no choice to vote for Trump.

But now that we have time to look back in hindsight, does anyone here wish they didn't vote for Trump?

In fact does anyone who voted Trump, actually vote for Kamala Harris instead?

No one who voted Trump would admit that they would vote Harris if they got a do over.

This is partially because Harris sucked and partially because if you voted for Trump you were probably kind of ok with fascism on some level.

I mean, no one can be shocked that he's gone full fascist in the second term. Surprised, yes. Shocked, no.

Everyone who really, really wasn't OK with fascism voted for Harris despite how bad she sucked... because we weren't OK with fascism.

Harris was a typical establishment middle of the road Democrat, who had experience as VP. She was flawed but competent enough for the job. No different to Biden would have been a steady hand.

Trump on the other hand is a proven incompetent corrupt clown, and criminal who has no regard for the constitution, and law. A totally corrupt sociopath, basically the worst kind of person imaginable to be President. The idea is was a close call between them or that he was the better option is mind bogglingly brain dead. Just look at the incompetent clowns Trump has appointed to key government positions. Its literally a bad satire. America literally had crazies banging on the wall of the Whitehouse and decided to let them in. Well done idiots.

How many decent people actually run for president?
It's not a spot for a "decent" person. You have to have some edge and ruthlessness, and be fine with all sorts of shit you will be directly and indirectly responsible for. There's a line of course, but you really don't want a "decent" and/or "wholesome" President, because those characteristics will get y'all killed.

It's not a nice world. Nice and decent people do not belong at the top, which is why there aren't any in command anywhere. We're all ruled by neck stompers, and that's just the way it is.

Are you literally shaking?

You can be a decent person and still be strong. Being a decent person means having a good moral compass which is essential if you want a good President. Trump is the opposite of decent, he is a corrupt sociopath who only cares about himself.

I couldn't and still wouldn't vote Kamala. I am not a fan of how the left behaves in America when they lose, but Harris would of done far more damage then Trump can in my opinion. I didn't think there is a single Republican that the left won't call Hitler, or a fascist. It's all a charade

How is possible she should have done more damage than trump? be specific.

To what extent? What's your definition of "decent"?

I'm seeing a lot of praise for Obama, who has MANY bodies on him. Many foreign wars aided by his decisions. You have to be okay with that, as a leader in making those decisions.

I'm sure you think I'm some asshole, but I wouldn't want to live with those decisions. I'd crawl up into a ball of depression, if one of my decisions got 1000's of people killed. These guys do it like it's some company project and just move on. You have to have that kind of mentality to deal with being directly responsible for that shit. It's a higher bar, than just being able to observe it and comment on it.
