were U2 the least rock n roll rock group ever?

I was never a big fan of Rock bands, but I found U2 songs to be deeply moving.

just googled Coldplay and they have some random AIDs victim from the 80s

That guy is a legitimate bad ass and BJJ black belt. Don't judge an AIDS book by its cover.

They were more of a post-punk band in their early period, didn't become a stadium rock band until the late 80's/early 90's. They fit the post-punk image early on.
