This problem is incredibly widespread in both film and music. Here is a crossover story to help illustrate that point. How many remember Lou Pearlman?

Lou Pearlman was the boy band manager for groups like Nsync and Backstreet Boys. He ultimately went to prison for a Ponzi scheme that cost investors 300 million dollars, and he died while in prison but there was always the allegations that he was a. This problem arcs across both film and music and has for a long time. This from ABC News.
Awaiting trial on bank fraud charges and accused of scamming thousands of senior citizens out of millions of dollars, Lou Pearlman, the pop-music impresario who founded the Backstreet Boys, now faces the prospect of life in a big house very different from the 15,000-square-foot mansion he once occupied outside Orlando, Fla.
Just what took place in that house -- complete with movie theater, video games, pool table, swimming pool and a planned bowling alley -- has become the focus of a series of very different allegations by young men who claim Pearlman acted inappropriately, molested them or sought to exchange sex for help with their careers.
In the November issue of Vanity Fair, Pearlman, for the first time publicly, is described by several former singers, aspiring singers and their parents as a lecher, who used the same deceptive charms to cop cheap feels off teenage boys as he did to allegedly bilk 1,400 investors out of more than $300 million.
Pearlman has since denied the allegations from prison.
In the late '90s, just as the Backstreet Boys and 'NSync, Pearlman's biggest boy bands, hit it big in the United States, Pearlman was grooming a stable of youngsters to take their place. After auditioning, these kids, some as young as 13, were relocated to Orlando where they would regularly rehearse and spend their free time at Pearlman's home.
Another group of young men regularly at the house were a staff of personal assistants, some of whom told Vanity Fair they were promised jobs in bands in exchange for providing sexual favors to Pearlman.

Seriously, this interview is fucking amazing
Creeps trying to bang boys, Hollywood ripping people off, banging prime Jennifer Love Hewitt, this interview has everything
Wow, I listened to the entire interview. Thanks for pointing that out Petey, great listen that is on topic. A couple takeaways.
Hollywood and the music industry are filled with weirdophiles and rapists. Its not an occasional outlier, its closer to the norm. Howard Stern is creepy in his own way always concerned with the exact details of sex whether it be how Lou Pearl wanted to grab Rich Cronin's dick or exactly how Jennifer Love Hewitt looked nude, including questions about her shaving habits. And finally, Jennifer Love Hewitt is a man-eater. If what Rich is saying is true then she is a classic man-eater, no remorse, she uses weaponized love/sex.
There needs to be some kind of line, before you know it prostitutes will be going after people 15 years later and winning.
People like him have to convince themselves that Trump is still somehow worse then the constant barrage of sexual predators and literal monsters comming from the political left as of late.
If he allows himself to understand this evil without any deflection, he will be forced to reexamine his ideology as a whole.
Since we all know that leftists always project, and never reflect, I wouldn't hold out any hope.
How did this thread derail to a left or right debate from just a simple story about a power tripping Hollywood scumbag who took advantage of his position?
I am starting to think it's a sickness.

Harvey Weinstein had sexual misconduct written into his contract with the company he and his brother starter together. When this all started the board of directors fired Harvey but now the contract is showing that as long as Harvey pays a fine, they can't fire him. The contract says that if Harvey is sued or has sexual misconduct he has to pay $250,000 for first offense, $500,000 for second offense, $750,000 for third offense, and $1,000,000 for fourth offense and every offense thereafter, but they can't fire him for it.
