Is this right? What's up with that?

Soon are we gonna have weigh ins the day before at 12:01 am so everyone can pack 30 lbs back on?I don't mind weight cut at all I just don't think we should be getting too far from the 24 hr before fight weigh in if possible. If someone wants to lose then cut huge amounts of weight fine but now for instance main event will be about 35 hours after weigh in.That's too much.We already have 1 extra lb, guys legally doing ped's etc.I hope they don't make a habit of this.

IMO weight cutting is the dumbest thing in combat sports. It wont change so let them go ahead and alter it however they want.

Or, we'll see guys at the same weight they always are, just more comfortable. I'm OK with this.

Not really that much of a difference. A few hours after weigh ins they are all back to normal weight. So adding a few extra hours on to the norm isnt that big of a deal.

I don't get what you are trying to say

I cut weight consistently for a lot of years.Extra time helps a lot and greatly benefits the guys cutting huge amounts.

We don't want these guys drinking TOO much water. A hydrated man doesn't fight with enough urgency IMO

pretty simple stuff here .Do you think having a fight 35 hours after weigh in is ok?I was saying I don't.

Ummm clearly not "simple stuff", pretty much every sentence in the OP doen't really make sense.

I'm not a fan but I don't think this will become a trend. they prob just had scheduling issues with the arena or something like that

ok maybe we should have weigh ins a week before hand then...or wait maybe the commission can just eye the competitors up,looks legit.

that's what I was thinking.we are from the same place :)

There seems to be a math problem here. 1 ET vs 6 ET is only 5 hour difference. Where did you get 35 hours from?

main event will be about 6 hours into the event so if ya add 5 and then 6 24 becomes 35

There's 11 fights Total counting from the bottom prelims. Even if all goes to a decision, I don't think its 6 hours?
