Richard Gere and Sylvester Stallone hate each other. Long story short, Gere believes Stallone made up the gerbil story but Stallone denies it. I saw Stallone tell this on a talk show many years ago. I don’t remember the show (a cable show), but Stallone and everyone else on the show were howling during this segment !
