Media Weidman looks to be in great shape

He's still fighting? For some reason I thought he retired.

I don't think anyone's fallen off the cliff faster than that guy has. Started out as an undefeated champion, beating Silva (twice), Machida, Belfort. Then he went on to lose something like 6 of his next 8.

2-6 in his last 8 with 6 TKO/KO...albeit one was a leg break TKO...but the others...love Weidman...but I think his ambitions of becoming a champ again are slim to none.

Tavares is a winnable fight for Weidman...but will his chin hold up is the question...

Doesn't matter how good you look when a stiff breeze sends you to the shadow realm

I think he wins this weekend, Chris for some reasons gets a lot of disrespect on these forums and really not sure why. In most of his recent losses he was looking good or winning until he made a mistake...happens to most of the top guys, thing is he never looked like he doesn't belong in the cage with them...ever. Do I think he becomes champ again...no, but I do think he has some W's left in his tank.

nah there's been a few. Barao and Johny Hendricks come to mind.

as for Weidman being in shape, when is he not? that doesn't really give me confidence that "he's back" or can even make it back.

since when has his chin ever been in question?

only KO/TKO loss where he went out quick was against Reyes, where he was fighting up a weight class
