Media Weidman looks to be in great shape

I think he wins this weekend, Chris for some reasons gets a lot of disrespect on these forums and really not sure why.

Cmon now we know why lol. He ended Andersons 17 fight win streak and reign when many people back then had Anderson in GOAT talks if not GOAT which he isnt in as much these days. Chris finished him brutally twice. Some fans will pretend theyre upset about Chris running around after the leg break before he stopped once he realized what happened but really theyre butthurt with how Chris ended the Spiders reign at the top.

I dont think him being in shape was ever an issue, dude is a stud athlete no doubt, he just gets hit with nuclear bombs and then obviously the leg break.

If The Chris is really back (4 REAL), Sherdog will explode
The bandwidth will be exceeded

Is this picture real, or photoshopped? Please be photoshopped....not that there's anything wrong with it!<45>

Real

They're good friends and like brothers

Weidmans little sister married Wonderboys older Brother (Sweet T!) so they're family

Stimpy, Teh Chris and Oscar Sterling

Excuse me but Yushin Okami was never a big MW.

Fought half his career at WW never missing weight.

Weighted-in at soft 200lbs with clothes on for a week-notice LHW bout vs OSP.

A below average MW by today standards.

Huge head though

I actually have a feeling he will win, its a good matchup for him, Tavares just has nothing on his punches, he is a decision machine, goes to decision all the time and just can't drop guys.. I see this as a winnable fight for Weidman, his chin has looked suspect but like I said Tavares is a powder puff puncher, I reckon it will go to a decision and be close'ish, Tavares is well rounded and experienced, but I wouldn't be surprised if Weidman won the decision.

He's still my boy. Mine mine mine mine mineeee all mine <3 I'd love to see Mr Charlie Weidman there, give his boy some strength

I think he wins this weekend, Chris for some reasons gets a lot of disrespect on these forums and really not sure why. In most of his recent losses he was looking good or winning until he made a mistake...happens to most of the top guys, thing is he never looked like he doesn't belong in the cage with them...ever. Do I think he becomes champ again...no, but I do think he has some W's left in his tank.
I can tell you the reason. He ended Anderson Silva. He was the guy.

He's forever hated for that on here. There are still people in denial about what happened a decade ago

When are we ever going to learn that at the highest-level of combat sports… aesthetics mean very little.

Did you guys watch that documentary about growing up in his brother's shadow and how he used to get his ass beat by his brother growing up? It was pretty good.

Yeah his brother was a bit of a psycho and ended up holding resentment due to what Chris became and coping with religion to not support Chris fighting. Brother ending up a loser and coping with injuries IIRC. Haven't seen it in years.
