Get rid of advantages. Legalize heel hooks and reaping. Take away two points for sitting to guard instead of pulling guard. If there's a double guard pull? The first guy on top gets sweep points. A "catch" (close, locked in submission) should score points, perhaps 2 like a sweep?

Allow some sort of penalization for inactivity. Something like: First warning gets no points taken, second gets one, third gets two, and so on. If you acquire 4 warnings (-10 points)? You're DQ'd.

Simple changes that'd lead to BJJ being more fan friendly without sacrificing itself as an art or sport.
