There's a huge difference between going after an internationally condemned and sanctioned despot in Venezuela, and the US invading and annexing territory from a NATO ally.

Also, Greenland has already given the US essentially unlimited permission to build & operate military bases on its soil. There is really no need for the US to take this risk and further isolate itself from its allies around the world.
