Watching Khabib vs Tibau for the first time

Round 2 is also close, and tough to score. Khabib is still more aggressive but not as successful.

Tibau landed a good counter and a got takedown, but Khabib is right back up.

Tibau's TDD is ridiculous.

Another break against the fence for no reason. I forgot how bad Yamasaki was.

Khabib is getting wilder and wilder as the round goes on. Lands a jumping knee and a hook at the bell.

10-9 Tibau, 19-19

Pretty crazy that all three judges gave that round to Khabib. Definitely rewarding aggression.

That’s one thing I always notice about old fights was how awful refs were. I was watching bisping v rashad the other day and they kept standing them up, never had time to work on the ground, it was stupid. I think it was even herb Dean was the ref.

But like the other guys said you should do this all night as there is no fights on. Do Whittaker v Romero II

It's a terrible Saturday evening.

I can't find a damn stream worldwide to save my arse for the few Orgs that had matches today.

All you do is watch MMA bro?

He's lw goat.. pretty clearly.

I just find it slightly weird you feel the need to post the same thing over and over again in multiple threads.

When Khabib Nurmagomedov fought Gleison Tibau I wasn't watching nearly as much UFC as I do now.

As Khabib's career progressed I always planned on going back and watching it, but I just never got around to it.

Well, today's the day I rectify the situation.

Starting Round 1 now.

First impressions:
Khabib looks so young!
Tibau is absolutely enormous. His arms are probably twice as big as Khabib's.

Will update after Round 1.

Good shit man. This fight and GSP vs. Johnny Hendricks are on my list of bouts to watch on Fight Pass. I've never gotten around to seeing them, but they're so deeply-ingrained in the mythos of two GOAT of the sport that I feel I'm obligated to watch them at some point.

A close decision is a matter of personal perception. There is no clear cut winner. To say that x fighter got robbed is pretty moronic.

@Ares Black do Scoggins Vs Said Nurmagomedov, that's statically the biggest robbery ever according to media scores but I can't remember it at all.

Yeah questionable decisions happen all the time, but outright robberies are actually quite rare.
