Was it lucky that he just had to fight one of the smallest LWs in the UFC for the Lightweight title? Yes, definitely. Scripted title.

No. In fact he was unlucky RDA got injured as he would have won his 2nd belt sooner and possibly a 3rd as a fight with Robbie Lawler at 200 was next on the cards and I would have fancied Conor to beat that version of Lawler.
