Warroom election prediction thread!

My guess is HRC with 322 EVs.

Wins by a larger margin in the popular vote than Obama in 2012 but comes away with fewer EVs. She trades OH, IA, and ME-2 for NC. NC is basically a coin flip though.

Man, it's impossible to tell if you're joking or not. You're pretty consistent with the gimmick, and from my recollection not clever enough to be this funny on purpose, but it sounds like a joke.

I think Hilary wins the popular vote by between 3 and 5 percent.

I think the electoral will by close but she'll pull it off.
 
Last week I had Nevada, North Carolina, Florida going red.

Now that the FBI has "cleared" Hilary, I think it'll go down as follows:

5% would be a tribute to such a great political system that is so admired by people everywhere. Just a few days ago, she was staring at a dead heat after the FBI director got nervy about being called corrupt and put 110% effort into picking over the new batch of found emails no matter how minute the chance of a possible scandal, despite her opponent being a crooked businessman who seemingly did everything wrong to sabotage his own election campaign by encouraging violence on supporters because they looked a certain way (despite proclaiming himself the law and order guy), no policy prescriptions but lots of crude personal remarks against his Republican rivals and now Hillary (cannot satisfy her husband), calling Hillary and everyone else corrupt despite Hillary having a clean sheet while he's got a at least a dozen big legal settlements.

The professor who has correctly predicted every election since 1984 says Trump will win so bow down and kneel to his Trumpian majesty!

he qualified it saying that a normal Republican (ie Romney) would win this election based on his "6 historical factors", but Trump is an outlier and maybe "shattering" history, ie losing.
 
Trump's going to win for all of the welders that accidentally worked one hour of overtime too many and got hosed by their good uncle Samuel.

This is great analysis, but even Romney's not perfect, for example he was a Mormon trying to make a name in Evangelical Iowa. Sometimes I think conservatives get into a no true Scotsman mode when discussing their candidates. It really speaks to the weakness of the party, but again, in a no tue Scotsman world, who better to be the untrue Scotsman than Trump? He may be the most untrue Scotsman ever. Especially after I heard audio of him lauding a junior Senator with a Voting record of Present and a pastor and mentors the likes of Wright and Ayers. He taught Saul Alinsky, but I guess Trump just wasn't as smart as I was at 24.
Bottom line, I don't think Trump is this great storied, principled public servant, but he seems to be trying to give people what they want. I will take him over HIllary and the U.S. going the way of Europe.
I believe that Americans will vote from the gut and Trump will win just like Reagan did. That is my prediction.
