Warhammer 40k

Lots of other new info on the blog page [LINK] as well. None of it particularly interesting to me. But I've got to say: fucking more Nurgle shit? Jesus Christ, give it a rest. Both Rogue Trader and the new Blood Bowl team are Nurgle. C'mon GW, there's got to be something else you could have used.

But Nurgle is the best. As an aside has GW ever been good at doing things correctly? Although I am looking forward to the horror imprint of black library they have failed in almost every other aspect to do things. Like do we need 100098908890706 marines? There are other factions that need love on tabletop.

He is pretty cool, but I love the slow trudge of nurgle. I also enjoy most of the fiction where he is involved. Well actually all the chaos gods are fun in the lore. Slaneesh has the funniest cultists though.

There is a ciphais Cain novel on an ice planet where they are all in like no clothes attacking him in an ice field and some of them are just enjoying being hurt. It's hilarious

Okay but here another angle.

If the Old Ones did not create warp gods, then the Eldar, who are like their progeny, and the oldest of the all species once the Old Ones split. The Eldar took over the galaxy right after them. That must mean their gods are the oldest and first gods. The only ones before them did not create any gods. How come their gods did not just eliminate all the other gods when they were born?

If the C'tan, Necrons, and Tau cannot touch or interact with the Immaterium, then who else besides the Eldar can? Also, can the C'tan, necrons, and Tau enter into the Warp like Humans void ships can in order to travel FTL. Can the psychic energies even interact with C'tan, necrons, or Tau? The C'tan, and Crons did build those pylons to affect the Warp in some way. How do the C'tan and Crons travel FTL?

Also does the psychic energy of the warp only affect minds, or can they affect the physical objects of the material universe.

When the Eldar created Slanesh it appeared in the warp violently. Most of the Eldar and their Gods died outright. Humans also fuel the Chaos Gods pretty heavily.

Some new pictures from the texas cafe opening [LINK]. Grot Max is a nice touch.

How come the Warp does not have any benevolent Gods? Dont the sentient being of the WH40K universe sometimes have nice thoughts and feelings?

Like do puppies and kittens exist? Or if they do, do they just get tortured and eaten Chinese Yulin Dog festival style or something? Are there any niceties in the WH40K uni?

Those emotions have to be powerful and constant. The closest they have to that is the Emperor half formed in the warp as a God.

Love, Hope, and will power are not strong emotions?

Come to think of it. This concept of emotional/psychic energy is mirrored in the DC Uni with the Lantern Corp and their emotional electromagnetic spectrum. Only difference is the spectrum exists in the physical realm. But each emotion is its own energy, and has an associated manifested being that represents each one.

It took the Eldar generations to create Slaanesh with nothing but constant hedonism to get the psychic manifestation of it to fully form. Everything that is presented about the Imperium doesn't really foster the idea of hope springing eternal.

The worship of the Emperor is talked about as creating a new God in the warp but cannot fully form because the Emperor's soul is being trapped in his body by the Golden Throne.

In the Grim Darkness (TM) of the Far Future, there is Only War.

The living conditions for most people in 40k are shit. Theres a few nice places here and there (Macragge springs to mind), but the vast majority of them are very much not.
