i dont know if they still use the stealth shit anymore(ravengaurd) i know they had a bunch of cloak tech and stealth tech made specifically for the legion.

plus them being the smartest legion or one of the smartest(outside the blood angels who actually go to school an do art)

i wanna take some deathwatch in my tabletop army. they're pretty rapey

because the ravengaurd have they're own forge world effectively i i recall, i think it might have gotten destroyed but i do recall them having a large amount of stealth tech and Armour

Quick review for both HH box sets: In some ways they are great, on other ways they are lacking.

First off, the MkIII and MkIV armor kits are quite nice. The casts are clean and well put together and you get a good variety of parts. My only real disappointment is that they include a ton of little accessory bits (pistols, knives, 'nades, ammo packs) and I really doubt anybody putting these kits together would actually use all of it, and these gubbins take up a lot of sprue space that could have been used to add an additional special weapon or two. Take out a half dozen accessories and they could have included a grav gun and volkite charger/caliver. This is especially true for the MkIII which come with fewer guns because the legs are cast in two parts (necessary due to the higher complexity in the armor plates compared to MkIV). But on the whole these are good kits.

Next are the termies. I think both the cataphracti and tartaros kits are great. They go together well and have a ton of options for both tactical and lightning claw variants. Having put together AoBR, DV, and both the standard assault and tactical terminator kits I can say without a shadow of doubt that these kits are FAR superior to all the other versions in my collection. If I ever need more terminators in the future it'll be one of these two kits.

Now for the first big let-down. The contemptor dread kinda sucks. They stuffed the whole thing on a single sprue and the design suffers massively because of it. The whole thing is single-pose with the exception of the ball joints at the shoulders and even those will be limited to to a narrow range due to aesthetic limitations. A second sprue would have let them do so much more articulation and include more weapon options. This was a big missed opportunity.

For me, the biggest surprise was the Sisters and Custodes from Prospero. I didn't really like them all that much in photos, but holding the sprues in-hand changed my mind. What was going to be ebay-ed I'm now going to keep. The Custodes in particular look fantastic and I don't think GW's studio painters really did them justice.

Finally, the character models. The Calth characters have a big advantage in that they can be used for any faction. They look good, but are single-pose sculpts. The Prospero characters are unfortunatly puppy and sons specific. They're great models, but useless outside those factions.

They have stealth relic suits and the quieter 'beakie' model armour with weaker armour but is more mobile and quieter and better scaning wtc
Ships have a invisibility setting due to unique void shield tech

Thought you guys might like this. I bought a 3d printer about six months ago and have been slowly been working on bigger projects with it.

I am now designing a new set of armor for my Imperial Knights. It uses an angular aesthetic rather than the curved one of the regular kit. I'm still in the prototyping stage (laying out the basic shapes and making sure parts actually, you know, fit) but I'm far enough along that I've got a mock-up for all the components.

I'm really happy with how things are coming along. Obviously it needs to be detailed out with vents, rivets, etc, and printed at a higher resolution but the basics are all in place. Only shape that I really think needs some tweaking is the shin guard.

Getting everything to fit was a bastard. I don't know if any of you guys have handled these kits before but the mounting points for a lot of this stuff uses complex curves that are a nightmare to duplicate using just a caliper for measurements. The back piece all by itself needs to mate into eight pegs and six different curved surfaces as well as have cutouts for the exhaust to pass through.

Read the overview of the book 3 of the rise of rowboat..

Artificial Day turns to Artificial Night and Artificial Day again before the doors open once more, and Roboute Guilliman steps out, expression unreadable. He demands an immediate assembly of the High Lords of Terra, and that he will be resuming his seat on that council as well as forcibly removing several High Lords from office. He would, once again, become Lord Commander of the Imperium of Mankind. Of his meeting with the Emperor, all Guilliman would say is that he received all the enlighten he required. He warns the High Lords of an encroaching darkness, a terrible Warp phenomena that was manifesting over the galaxy as the war against Chaos enters a terrible new phase. Cadia was only the beginning – from Fenris to Armageddon to Attila and Balor, all were feeling the claws of Chaos. But hope was not lost. New Armies would be raised, in numbers not seen since the days of the Great Crusade. From Cawl’s forges on Mars would come new and terrible weapons whose fury the worshippers of Chaos would be unable to stand.

The Imperium would not drown in the tide of warfare, but instead ride upon the crest of a bloody wave to triumph against darkness.

i jizzed..

hard

Dude what the fuck, who's sword is on Cyphers back!

I'm really not liking some of these new rumors. The rumors are pointing to a new faction of "uber-marines" made using Girlyman's blood. There's a lot of potential for GW to fuck up if that's the direction they're going, especially if they start minimizing/invalidating existing chapters/factions (already being seen with Eldar).

There's a picture floating around right now of what is being claimed to be one of these new dudes. I think the model looks fine (looks mostly like a new armor mark with a longer range battle rifle) but there's just so much potential for shit-tier fluff.

Hope not really hope not
The space marines are already made from the primarchs genes and blood etc ...no reason girlyman being back should make new super marines
They couldnt make them.mini primarchs..only big e knew how that process works
They cant say genetics is now guillimans 'thing' Or say theres better techniques to make them all of a sudden
We already have custodes as the peak.of what mankind can do to an ordinary human

so they aren't just resurrecting 30k gear? to me that would make more sense. he should allow legions building to be done and reform the legion
