To be fair p4p they are quite dangerous and most importantly their speed of tech upgrades makes them a dark horse to be the eventual 40k 'winner' ..that and their ability to woo over xenos and humans
Theyre that little growth u shoulda gone to a doc about.....imperium so swamped with more numerous threats they cant see the danger of these guys(or can but are swamped)

That said the cool holodeck style shit the deathwatcg is exp with a few of them could unlock their whole secrets

The prayers arent supercharging the emps as hes still alive..ish
The leading theory is once he dies (assuming hes not perpetual who just regens) all that prayer and time on throne will supercharge him into new god emerging in imaterium thatl murderrape the others

Yeah they are awesome ...feel imperium could be saved if say high lords reduced geneseed samples that have to be sent for testing but in response all chapters must gove more to the watch
Their stealth world killing droneships are an amazing concept
Or the idea of souch xeno tech and biolgy being tested on.....thw whole setup seems like the most efficent use of marines to face down xenos as opposed to chapters

Girlyman seems to be good at taking existing tech and improving ....if he could improve the lasgun alone say hed turn the imperium into a beast again



Deus ex machina aka suddenly writer has created one uber solution to the problem a storys characters has .....the deathwatch has loads of them but none as great as the omega vault

-Inpenetrable ancient 30k vault that opens at will and closes quickly ...seemingly opens and reveals useful artefacts at either preset times of great danger (past enguneers using future sight) or in response to a particular geneseed
-has unreplicatable virus that kills all non humans quickly but it dies outside of vault
-rumoured final vault inside holds imperium altering secret..stuff

Yeah it jas that small outpost
...loads of small omes wit cool stories as well as larger ones and of courst the main training facility itself

They do love their secrets those dark angels ,the chapter u least want to fuck with cause its secretly still a legion!
Yeah alien tech is a cool concept in 50k to play with
...but then again each chapter seems to have its relic 30k stuff unique to it that could be a huge boon to the imperium if shared
Like the ravens 'cloak' void mode
Or blood angels steel
The imperial fist phalanx has a room.of odd possibly xenos tech that can break any psyker etc etc

To be fair his legion was down to almost chapter strength anyway (prospero and horus) hence part of why he pretended to go along with codex (the were pre fennris siegemore like chapter and a half)

Hed be pissed at what the empire had become ...new books let him seem far less the savage than he portrays
