to get things going again any 30k fans here? i am working my way through the novels right now i am on pharos right now.
got to say i love me some night lords fluff they are flawed and yet likable because of how flawed and unforgiving they are.

out of the traitor legions what do you guys think are the coolest, best fluff, nicest miniatures, etc...
i like aaron dembski-bowden's fluff the best, so i like the night lords, and pre Angron demon world eaters. to add to that I like he iron warriors perturb is a cool cat in my book i am digging the character he is portrayed as in the fluff and his legion of craftsmen turned siege/trench men is pretty awesome albeit a little ridiculous when they start talking about the fortifications they can make in 10 minutes or less.
Emperors children are actually pretty badass considering there color is violet or purple and there leader is basically a ken doll. but there fluff actually goes a long wa to making me sad for there corruption and fall from grace

30k-40k its all good on here brah!
Yeah night lords are pretty cool ,theres an awesome speech one of them gives as to why they arent the emperors executioners the wolves are ..cause unlike the wolves they kill slow and they kill cruel which sums them right up.


My fav tratiors has to be the trollmasters aka alpha legion ..a plan within a mystery within an enigma

Peturb is an awesome character ,an underappreciated genius sick of getting the short end
Many of the traitor primarchs tend to be more interesting characters than loyalist ,magnus for example is another great one....if big daddy ems had taken him to the side and spelled out his vision things coulda been so different

don't get me wrong i like alpha legion as well but they have the potential to be used poorly by unimaginative writes. because they can just say oh yea alpha legion did it bcuz dey sneaky and super human. but he they are on they are pretty cool.

honestly i think magnus was cursed from the start i feel like magnus's fate in the emperors hands was to sit on the golden throne for him while the emperor completd his ultimate work

Yeah id like to see a novel where they go toe to toe with the mentors who are supposed to have a few elite anti terrorism etc squads running around doing secretbshit inthe imperium...sorta like a good alpha legion but all rain man smart

they need to flesh out the story of the alpha legion...whos side are they on?
 
i find it interesting that the Tau got pushed back to the core worlds when they fought the imperium of man. They were completly out matched

They still suck in Void combat an titan warfare. i think the imperium only brought warhounds, knights and maybe a few reevers?

To be fair p4p they are quite dangerous and most importantly their speed of tech upgrades makes them a dark horse to be the eventual 40k 'winner' ..that and their ability to woo over xenos and humans
Theyre that little growth u shoulda gone to a doc about.....imperium so swamped with more numerous threats they cant see the danger of these guys(or can but are swamped)

That said the cool holodeck style shit the deathwatcg is exp with a few of them could unlock their whole secrets

Like all alpha legion shit its complex
They took horus side as were shown futures by multi alien group called cabal and saw mankind needeed them with horus
Now its hinted at they are on himanitys side...just not the imperiums
