Warhammer 40k

all of those options make sense but it would be unfortunate if the answer is that both primarchs are dead along with their legions, i prefer to have a more fleshed out story behind it and prefferably atleast one of them is still alive
Dunno the way they reffer to them seems to hint long dead man
Russ and his bad motherfuckers killed em and they aint even sorry

it still would be cool to have a new primarch we've never heard of adding more flavor. like i said a samurai or a aqua-man space marine would be bad ass

True seeing how they interact with the others etc (bet they liked sanguinius...everybody liked the angel)
Or what their unique gene seed offers and what unique tech variants they fielded , how they fought etc

At this stage i suppose storywise having odd sucessor chapters fills that void .....pity we see such a small fraction of what supposed to be hundreds of chapters

Lore question, if the awesome papa smurf Roboute rises, the primarchs where the great generals of the imperium and only answered to their father, so i assume Roboute is not gonna take nicely the massive clusterfuck the imperium organization has become, it would be cool if he marched to Terra and with the master of assassins cleaned house of all the corrupted and insane ministorum religious fanatics to kickstart a new golden age for humanity

the emperor will have to allow it, i mean he can talk psychically to people. To what extent we dont know, and more then likely yes he's gonna be fucking pissed off at what imperium has become. that's 100% gonna happen and if it doesn't....

what the fuck? Also if the master of assassins is the same as he was in the beast aeries then maybe we can assume he'd side with roboute, but marines and the clades do not get along anymore.

Semi retarded =/ but i guess w.e. They need to clear that shit up

Never played the game. Started reading the Horus Heresy in 2015 and am on book # 35 Eye of Terra.

There will be whole series of books on his rise now
I doubtbhel tear it all down hes too practical for that
Hel be pissed , moan for what could have been , try and get the high lords to change a bit
Meanwhile as master of ultramar hel prob focus on fixing it where needed
But id expect nost of his new books will focus on rolling up his sleeves and using his amazing strategoc planning ,statesmanship and logistics to get to workon the threats to the imperium

ahaha they are getting the dual sworded akimbo knights.

Know what really annoys me about the new Girlyman model? Almost any of the other loyalist primarchs would have been a more interesting choice. Yes, even the dead ones. Rowboat is just so damn vanilla. No real iconic wargear or aesthetic is associated with him, and most of the story options for him are just going to be bitching about what a clusterfuck the imperium has become (and really, any of the primarchs could make that observation).

compared to the new 30k model absolutely

im very interested to see how the eldar story is gonna play out considering the big changes they seem to have tho i dont like the idea of crafworld eldar being buddies with their dark kin

sure they dont hate eachother as much as in the fantasy setting and GW royally fucked that up by having them team up but in the 40k setting it doesnt make sense either imo

Dunno they are all the same shared culture really hence why the harlequins move freely between them all
Plus Fear of slaneesh binds them hence why this movement to protet their souls from it nakes sense

Well of the 'living' loyal primarchs corax and russ arent really team players ..wouldnt do much for imperium (russ would be trying to fix fenris etc)
Vulkans return would be too huge a boon ...guy also makes amazing weaponry
Dorn ...well hes a lot like guilliman
But hed be more about building stuff than guilliman would
Basicaly they chose to bring back the master planner and logistics dude, also the statesman of the primarrchs....the guy who can do the most good with the unwieldy mess the imperium has become

harlequins are the only ones who are neutral in this matter however take for example the incubi who kill aspect warriors as part of completing their training

both craftworld eldar and DE looks down on eachother in different ways tho they are not in open war against eachother the DE wouldnt hesitate to kill craftworlders to fill whatever urge they have

however one thing they have in common is vauling an elf life over any other which resulted in rare cases where they worked together

maybe this is one of those cases but i wouldnt like it being "eyyy lets kill slaneshh and be friends ok?"

Everything they do though is about slanesh though
The de are the closest to what the eldar were pre fall...the mass torture stuff is linked to life extension to avoid big s
But their city has had something trying to burst through recently and one of their main political players stole a crystal heart from a deiety they outwitted in the deep webway

The craftworld are the puritans trying to avoid big s with restraint and staying far from its reach
And exodites are similar

They all chose their different paths to avoid slaneesh but now with the eye opening wider , the dark city possibly soon to be breached and the harlequins in possesion of knowledge of whats to come/needs to be done
it may be the catalyst for them allying more to raise ynnead the thus remove fear of slaneesh eating their souls

Slaneesh is a driving force for all three factions that is true but the eldar represent parts of the prefall eldar by being divided as they are now, DE are enjoying the lifestyle they have but also fear Slaneesh thus they will most likely continue the typical DE life even if the chaos god died because they are a part of what the eldar used to like you said however that goes for the craftworlders aswell

seeing as the next book is called Fracture of Biel Tan one would speculate that part of the fracture is the dealings with the DE that creates a divide within the craftworlders

Yeah so its not unusual that many from all factions would unite esp if it looks like chaos is about to be stronger everywhere in the real universe with the eye expanding , the dark city may be breached and if mankind falls will prob tip shit over and allow slaneesh all it needs to finish the eldar...3 possible catalysts to give them the push they needed to do something big

In simple terms they now know shit cant keep going the way its going
Ynnead has always been the long term counter to big s..the question is why now and how was this alliance formed
