Warhammer 40k

One theory always had vulcan captured by necron supertroll tyzen the infinite
And the primarch khan possibly held by a dark eldar leader

Where is corax? Usaly right behind u lol..no theories on his whereabouts iv heard

The great wolf? Who knows id have expected him back with the wulfen when fenris was under siege

So is this played like Dungeons and Dragons? How is a game played out? I always saw this shit at hobby shops when I was little, but I had no idea people actually played it as a game.

You ever play turn-based-strategy video games? X-Com, Final Fantasy Tactics, Front Mission, Advance Wars, etc? Well, it's like that, only instead of moving units around on a grid they get moved on the table using a measuring tape and instead of the computer calculating damage you roll dice based on the unit's stats.

DnD is a cooperative narrative game where each player (usual 3-6) assumes the role of a single character and a DM plays the role of the antagonists and designs the story. WH, on the other hand, is a competitive war game where each player (usual 1v1) controls an army of figures and tries to defeat each other.

Really, other than both being table top games, DnD and WH have very little in common.

Custode ?

Damn a lot of cool shit dropping the dark angels new cypher is pretty sick looking
Battle Bunnies just dropped a ton of pictures from the weekender [LINK]. Here's a couple I'm sure you'll enjoy (all custodes stuff):

i get the impression Vulcan isn't a good fighter...

And weird how the Dark eldar could capture a primarch

Those aren't wolven, those are pussy as puppys with X-23 claws

Vulcan? Vulcans prob the toughest primarch
Dudes a perpetual (like wolverine) so cant be permantly killed and is also the largest and physicaly strongest of the primarchs!

Its weird yeah but numbers can overwhelm i suppose

Yeah i always assumed russ was in the warp with his wulfen bros .so feck knows where he is then

Awesome
Hope the custodes do more in the new storylines...seems like a waste of talent of they arent fighting more
Theres always the theory that most of them are engaged in a never ending war vs a rift under the throne

Really so far what i've read, that black man got his ass kicked by Conrad. Also i though angron was the strongest?

He was captured in the shitstorm.of the drop site madssacre ..kod by sheer numbers attacking acting as a huge meat shield
but as he couldnt die the horus swarm took him captive
Conrad tried to kill and break him when he was a prisoner but couldnt..
then he fucked up when he tried to face vulkan head on and the big man literaly used him as a hammer to escape!
Angron was prob one of the strongest and prob the most exp in one on one combat due to his gladiator days ...but vulkan was stronger and his immortality woulda given him the edge id say of theyd scrapped

Yup but the ledgendary wulfen came back recently in the siege of fenris
Id have expect led russ to be with them but no

My understanding is that Magnus was the largest and physically strongest, he just didn't have the same combat skills as the other beatstick primarchs (and, really, why would he need them with such overwhelming psychic ability). Angron, while not the strongest, had a such a combination of strength, skill, and ferocity that made him an absolute monster in close combat.

As for Vulcan vs Curze: Vulcan was captured at the drop site massacre, stripped of his gear, and then relentlessly tortured/killed for months (Vulkan is a perpetual and kept regenerating). Eventually Curze got so pissed off by Vulkan not dying or giving up he forced him into a duel. However, Vulkan was able to get his hammer back and proceeded to beat the ever loving shit out of Conrad before using the hammer's built-in teleporter to GTFO.

You know what? i love the salamanders, they are so underrated but they have some awesome armour and weapons. Vulcan was a hell of a craftsman, but i didnt know he was super big. i think hes coming back as well if we can get anything from the fall of cadia.
Same with the great wolf(that book though was 100% trash).

speakin of trash, this game looks 100% awful

Salamanders are the legion I play in the tabletop (or I should say "play", I mostly just collect and occasionally paint). My favorite part of their fluff is that they have a much higher percentage of really high quality gear than almost any other chapter, and it's not because they've got special relationships (*cough*Minotaurs*cough*) but because they are all craftsmen in their own right. Every marine is capable of maintaining his own gear so, instead of being bogged down in basic ever day crap, their techmarines can focus on the good shit like artificer armor, terminator suits, and land raiders. In fact, the oldest functional Rhino in the imperium is held by the Salamanders.

You read that story from Kharn and Angron right before Angron became demonized (I am sure you have), Angron always just ran into shit with no tactics. Brute force though, for sure Angron was the strongest. Vulkan up there though but not stupid enough to not know when to quit.
The butchers nail really screwed him.
