As always, I cannot fully comment on what you mean by true progressives - I've only seen Greenwald espouse anything remotely similar to this view and the only issues I've seen raised from a person I actually do respect is Matt Taibbi regarding the more broad discretion afforded to social media giants (which I do think has some value but just isn't a priority for me right now) - but this is even more openly Republican-oriented than anything I've seen from him before. I was actually legitimately surprised. He's now directly co-opting the "MSM is controlled by the DNC" propaganda.

And it's worth reminding the peanut gallery that the cited opinion isn't from some wacky US House Rep or even a more fringe District judge. It's from a judge on the most prestigious and high-ranking Circuit Court in the country. In terms of the judicial hierarchy, this is the closest thing to the Supreme Court.
