Ok the writing on Ozark is good but has flaws. The Snell's lines are overwritten. It's like the densest british old lady drama delivered by rednecks. The snells lines alone are unrealistic. Thats not to say a hillbilly can't be a mensa member, but hillbilly traffickers don't deliver prose like shakespeare

the Snells are awesome...good ole fashioned Old School wisdom.

in terms of "over written" I think her character is..

just over the top, too precocious and a tad bit unrealistic imo

Both unlikeable. Especially the wife. I'm a Bateman fan since "It's Your Move". Blondie was the most interesting character and brightened up scenes.
