1. I did know the answer. I have seen him do it more than once. Anybody selling 30 million worth of stock draws my attention. And I thought it was a notable thing to mention in a random thought thread that Zuckerberg got richer today.

2. Your reaction just screams jealousy. I think this is all rooted in that 20 year old kid has more money than you. It must make you feel inadequate and defensive when an amateur can do your job so much better than you can.

And again, the straw many you keep popping up. That I think I can beat Lebron. I already said I know I can't.

1. He didn't get richer. Read the footnote. He converted one asset to another (FB stock to cash) with the intention of funding philanthropic activities.

2. Heh. OK. I won't torture you any more. By all means, give all your money to some kid selling you get-rich-quick schemes.

Did he sell it for more than he paid? No tax consequence to the transaction?

I knew you would be a pedant on that too. It goes towards his charity or whatever ponzi scheme he is running. I am no expert but I have seen experts conclude it is kind of a tax haven.

So what are the tax implications? They are quite generous to Mr. Zuckerberg. I asked Victor Fleischer, a law professor and tax specialist at the University of San Diego School of Law, as well as a contributor to DealBook. He explained that if the L.L.C. sold stock, Mr. Zuckerberg would pay a hefty capital gains tax, particularly if Facebook stock kept climbing.

If the L.L.C. donated to a charity, he would get a deduction just like anyone else. That’s a nice little bonus. But the L.L.C. probably won’t do that because it can do better. The savvier move, Professor Fleischer explained, would be to have the L.L.C. donate the appreciated shares to charity, which would generate a deduction at fair market value of the stock without triggering any tax.

All these guys, Zuckerberg, Gates, Buffet. Are all about being huge on charity. It is like they are competing who can give the most away. Elon Musk doesn't do that. lol. I think Buffett is the only genuine guy in the bunch. He really doesn't need his money. It has no utility for him. He is a simple guy his philanthropy is also in dedication to his dead ex wife who softened him up. She was his total opposite. Liberal hippy who helped people. He did it for her. He said he always thought he would die first and she would know what to do with his money. So he is doing with it what he thinks she would do.

Musk is still building his empire. Gates is out of business and Buffett is old.

Not sure what the guy is getting at. He's donating the assets to charity. His donation is much bigger than his tax savings

I'm not denying he is giving a lot of money away. But it is self serving as well. He also bought millions of shares for 6 cents. Facebook shares never been anywhere near as cheap as 6 cents. I know it was an option but he is still a scumbag. So, yes he did buy shares and sell them at a higher price.

As soon as Zuckerberg exercises any of his stock options he triggers a tax hit. He did just that when he bought the 60 million Facebook shares for 6 cents each. But from that moment forward, Zuckerberg is responsible only for any further rise in the value of the stock, and only when he sells it, and, even then, only at the far more favorable "capital gains" rates.

Zuckerberg's $2.3 billion payday also came after years of building up value in Facebook, meaning that he was deferring paying taxes for years.

I'm not sure how building a $billion company and cashing out while also donating a substantial amount of your proceeds to charity makes him a scumbag unless you think he's a scumbag for other reasons

I think that inferior men really have a hard time grasping that anyone else can truly have good motives.

Alright motherfuckers I got to vent.

Our local mic was cancelled for V Day so I drove a few hours to OKC for one, I never miss doing stand up right?

So I get to this spoken word/comedy mic in the super SJW patchouli smelling motherfucking part of OKC. My buddy I'm touring with killed, I fucking crushed it. I heard groans at premises but hardcore laughs at my punchlines. I'm feeling great walking off stage (also first time sober on stage in over a year what what!)

I sit down after the other few comics and I bro hug and the feature a super fat dread locked black dude gets on stage and says "hey I'm going to joke about not being white! Ha ha"

That was a shot at my bro I'm touring with, he's a Mexican who has a bit that says "I know I don't look Mexican.. I look more like a wedding DJ... In an ISIS video."

Then he says "I'm going to joke about being mean to women! (A shot at me) now is the time for real comedy"

Then the motherfucker pulls his cell phone out and recites some terrible jokes, then does spoken word poetry in which he forced the audience multiple times to say "Black women in charge" and a huge anti white tirade.

I was sober so I didn't pull my usual self of initiating conflict so I ignored him because had I been drunk I would have caused a fucking scene.

It was the closest I've ever said that douchey fucking "do you know who I am?" Moment.

So anyway. Fucking SJWs man.

For clarity, didn't he actually have to pay out two the dingleberry twins for stealing their idea? And I believe I read that he did try to use the courts to keep people from accessing generational lands in Hawaii. I guess it interfered with the efficacy of the wall he built around his property (all while ripping on the idea of building a wall for immigration purposes).

Nobody is talking about you, precious.
