Jesus Christ. Fuck this planet sometimes.
I read the probable cause for that one and the UC is like:
"Do you have experience with this?"
"Oh yes, I know how to be gentle with the little ones"

*Shudder

I drank a good chunk of my 4 Roses single barrel when I got home that night.

JFC

When I was in school, I helped defend a guy charged in a case just like that, factually. He got 20 years.
Rapists are a, well, weird group mentally. Will post more about another one when I get home so I make sure I get the necessary details (not of the crime but the way the dude acted in Court/on jail calls) right.

Good choice of liquor.
4 Roses
Bookers
Glenfidditch (fucked the spelling there I am sure)
Basil Hayden's

Are my go to "nice" booze. For cheap mixer whisky? Jack

Who does everyone have in DC/Stipe? @Lead, @Fawlty, @kpt018, @JudoThrowFiasco, etc.

I keep thinking that at Cormier's age, he's going to suddenly lose it, but no real signs of it that I can see yet.
Cormier turns it into a Randy Couture grindy type fight I bet he wins. If he can't keep Stipe down or against the cage, Stipe picks him apart to a UD. Doubt either guy gets finished in a losing effort though.

I know I wasn't tagged but I wanted to feel like a cool kid and respond anyway.

I haven’t given it enough thought to have a real opinion yet, but I have the same concern that DC will suddenly show his age and he proves us wrong every time. I’ll jump back in the convo once’s I’ve processed this more but initial gut reaction likes Stipe.

I have Stipe clear but competitive, in a cautious grind. He's going to be ready for DC's wrestling pressure and will punish him on the outside. DC can drag it out into a 5 round ugly mess though, so it's not like he doesn't have a chance. Whoever takes the advantage by the end of the first round holds it for all 5, and it goes the distance 80% of the time. The fight will have a certain character to it, without major momentum shifts beyond a fighter getting briefly rocked.

I feel like DC's style is the sort of style that can age gracefully and the HW division is already one full of old timers so DC isn't entirely out of place there. Speed is supposed to slip with age but he's already so much faster than most HWs that losing a step or two still has him ahead of most. As far Stipe specifically, I like Cormier's chances since he offers a credible takedown threat and mixes that well with his boxing and we know he can go five rounds.

I'm going with DC.

Stipe is going to light him up. He's got good enough wrestling to make DC work hard to finish any takedowns. The main disadvantage for DC is he doesn't really setup takedowns with anything -- he just walks in with confidence in his chin and the ability to rag doll once he gets his hands on someone -- but Stipe is going to land on when he tries, and hard.

If DC actually looks to set up his shot and change levels quickly, maybe he can pull it off. But, I don't think that wade into the danger zone style he uses is going to get him anything but cracked in the jaw by a great striker with solid power and a whole lot of range.

You say that but he set up his most iconic takedown with his hands

And even when he's not striking into the takedown he can exploit the threat to get in on the legs. Not saying you're wrong necessarily, if Stipe can him guessing with the jab and put the pressure on him maybe he can get DC panic wrestling and making bad shots.

I thought this conversation was hypothetical, just saw the news that its confirmed. Amazing fight but also kind of sad because neither guy really seem to have a credible challenge in their own weight class atm.

Like I said, he wades in because he's confident in his chin and his ability to rag doll when he gets his hands on you. But he is going to get cracked doing it against Stipe -- Jon Jones and Gus were able to use range and clip him multiple times --now he's got a 6'4 striker with legit hw power and better boxing.

Who is way slower than Jon, or Gus. Speed kills, buddeh.

Stipe beats DC, unless DC grabs him for 5 rounds - and DC's wrestling is good enough that I can see that happening. But Stipe is a big boy, and clearly has the composure and patience to go 5 rounds.

Yeah, but Boeing got BTFO!!! by Bombardier.

Bombadier is up 15%

Bombardier Inc is a Canada-based manufacturer of both planes and trains. It operates through four segments: Business Aircraft, Commercial Aircraft, Aerostructures and Engineering Services, and Transportation.

It's on the Toronto stock exchange which my app doesnt support. 3.50 canadian for one type of their shares. I think they have higher class shares but I cant find them. but this one is up 15%

Better boxer than Jones and Gus? I don't agree. Doesn't mean Stipe can't crack DC but I think DC has been in there with comparable boxers. Maybe not guys with as much power but at the same time Gus and Jones are faster.

DC/Stipe is on?

DC wrestlefucks his way to a decision victory.

DC said before that HW title fight he was glad he wasn't fighting at HW. Weird the sudden change of opinion. Does this mean Cain is out?

It's ok to call someone a :eek::eek::eek: because you disagree politically with them. But you could be dubbed for educating the person who insulted you on what :eek::eek::eek:philia actually is

Didn't Trump compare Ben Carson to a :eek::eek::eek:phile? And you're kind of a fan of him.
