Jack I think prime Benson Henderson is one of the worst matchups for Khabib. Sadly that fight will never happen. I also think a younger Gilbert Melendez would be a very tough fight for him also.

I think those styles make them tougher matchups.

But Hatchet Harry is way, way, way, way worse of a poster than Wiolent or klnOmega ever were. Frankly, I didn't think either of them were particularly shitty. This dude is shamelessly trolling in a way that's about 8 standard deviations past passably convincing.

So if he's either of them, it's them doing a very exaggerated parody/troll account.

I am arguing with idiots over which is more dangerous, boxing or mma. Which is worse for your brain. Anyway, while googling I came across this and found it interesting:

Muhammad Ali battled Parkinson's disease his entire post-boxing life. A new study, however, shows that Ali's bout with Parkinson's started well before he was diagnosed with it. Jonathan Eig, who wrote Ali's biography "Ali: A Life" (slated for stores Oct. 3), conducted a study on Ali's speech patterns to determine when his Parkinson's may have first manifested. A copy of Eig's study, which will be presented at Stockholm's Interspeech 2017, was picked up by ESPN's Outside the Lines.

The study found that Ali's speech slowed by 16 percent after a 15-round bout with Ernie Shavers in 1977. Shavers, a brawler, landed 266 punches throughout the fight. Ali's speech normalized over time, but Eig's study, conducted by Arizona State speech scientists Visar Berisha and Julie Liss through CompuBox, Inc., found a downward trend in Ali's speech in the waning years of his career. His speech slowed by 26 percent between the ages of 26 and 39.

Malcolm X was friends with Ali before he was famous. He still referred to him as Cassius. He distanced himself from Ali for Ali's own good. He didn't want to tarnish Ali's image by his association. They were friends though. And before the fight with Liston, Malcolm said he knew Ali would win. Malcolm also washed dishes with a young black guy named Red Foxx. Who Malcolm said was the funniest dishwater he ever met and one day you will hear of him. That is how Malcolm got his nickname. Both were nicknamed Red. Malcolm had a reddish tinge to his hair. To distinguish Malcolm from Foxx they called Malcolm "Detroit Red". Even though he is from Michigan, he is from far from Detroit. But Detroit was the only city in MI that most people knew. So they called him Detroit Red.

Long story short. Malcolm X tried boxing. Got his ass kicked by a white boy easily. Wanted a rematch. Trained hard. And the white boy smoked him again. He said in hindsight it was a blessing, if he was a good boxer he would end up punch drunk and never have used his mind. He had a very sharp mind.

It can't be resolved, and I'm not going to do the work to really get into it. So agree to disagree. :)

Also, I'm not too hung up on that stuff (all-time or p4p rankings). Just indicating that I don't think Khabib is just the "best beltless" fighter or even just a championship-caliber guy. Much rarer talent than those terms indicate.

Oh he’s very good fighter I’m not disagreeing with that at all.

I just think a guy like Benson when he was in his best form is a bad stylistic matchup. Not saying Khabib would lose but that would be a tough fight for him.

Benson is big, strong, great cardio, good wrestler and his leg kicks and movement would make him hard on the feet.

We won’t ever see that fight tho. It’s a fun fantasy match up imo

There are only a handful of posters here i have ever considered a troll. This Harry fella is the only one currently in operation. His opinions have zero policy validity, nor attempts at establishing it. That's a troll.
