Agreed. Won't be controversial, but IMO Cyborg clearly won every round there. Holly's yelling, faking, and legit high level of activity might have made it look like she was doing more than she actually was, but the judges should see past that.

Khabib looked spectacular as usual, too. Second straight arguable top-5 LW that he completely dominated. Forget about winning rounds against the guy, can anyone just lose one that isn't potentially a 10-8?

At best I had Holly maybe winning the second, but even then...

I was telling a friend at the end of Round 2 that I could see the judges or some fans fucking this one up because Holly's yelling and constant motion was making it look like she was doing a lot more but Cyborg was landing all the clean, hard shots.

If I didn't have a couple hundred bucks on Cyborg (who I thought should have been a much bigger favorite), I would have been rooting for Holly, and I was glad to see her not get totally destroyed as I thought she would, but she was dominated and clearly lost every round IMO.

Another thing: What was the deal with Holly pushing Cyborg against the fence and holding her there doing nothing? The announcers were praising it as a way for her to get a break, but Cyborg was totally relaxed, while Holly was working to keep that useless position. I could see it making sense if she were winning the round and wanting to slow the action down to prevent a comeback, but as it was, it didn't make any sense to me. Obviously Holly has a great team behind her, and it's likely there was a purpose that I'm just missing.

Possible, yeah. Too much injury and matchmaking drama has robbed us of a clear picture. To dominate Fedor-style in this era at LW is really sick. If he beats Ferguson and Conor he's Jon Jones level.

I took it as a way to get some control time, take away from the appearance of domination/ring generalship that constant forward motion has, and a chance to reset if she was getting hemmed in.

It was extremely impressive for him to be able to absolutely dominate Barboza like that. He looked unstoppable.

He's potentially up there with MM for me right now, but I'll reserve judgment until after he beats up ferguson or conor.
