Justin's accuracy was awful. Felt like he was landing 5% of his shots. He kept throwing a hook as if Alverez was right against his face

Lecter simply hasn't posted in a while, though it is connected to the aforementioned bannination. I suspect he also was having less fun, since his gimmick when he was trolling was basically satirizing TheStruggle style posters with some very subtle insults.

I'd like to know that too re: rip. I suspect that he had underlying sincerely held beliefs, but also liked to ham them up and embellish them for his posts.

Most of these bans were closely connected to threads I had created+was active in, or I would not be as aware of them.



Her falsedawn comment was almost certainly a reference to the thread in which she ultimately called him a "spearchucker." She had spent the previous few pages accusing him of being a misogynist and trying to bait him, and eventually lost her temper when he just responded with requests for misogynistic comments he had made, rather than engage her "well i'm a woman so you have to trust me on your misogyny" argument.

She also had a few posts early on bragging about pretending to be a black woman on facebook for the express purpose of starting arguments in feminist facebook groups and then calling people racist. (JVS called my attention to those). Later, she made a few references to Nietzche in connection with feminism about undermining a position by pretending to support it (badly). I wouldn't be remotely surprised by the latter.

Yea, that's what started the whole complaint. Said something racist to falsedawn then tried arguing a lot of people are sexist and it's tolerated.

To be fair, some moderate sexism is frequently tolerated on this forum. But so is racism, etc. The line seems to be drawn at really vile stuff - slurs, explicitly racist images, etc. Debates over whether black people are more likely to do crimes are generally tolerated, even though that's often driven by racism.

The contrast I would draw though is we've infracted racism against all races, including whites. I haven't seen a comment attacking women that wouldn't be as acceptable the reverse way, we are just more hands off with that.
 
It's like I already saw the end of that fight before it happened. As awesome as that KO was, the expectation made it less eventful.

One of the dudes I was watching with was trying to impress a chick by talking up reem and called him the champ.

His balls shrunk two sizes that minute. And the next ten that they replayed it. I haven't shadenfreud this hard since Conner Mayweather.

I found them all annoying, myself. But would I go out of my way to make sure they didn't post? Surely there should be *some* balance here. Not all of them were trolls: TheStruggle, a fellow PWD member, had actual opinions. I didn't agree with them, but they weren't trollish. He just mass-posted threads with an agenda.

There is the ignore function, as well.

Though to be honest, I would love to know whether rip was a true troll or not.

Purposefully got upper bowl because the whole idea of Little Caesar arena was to have seats designed to appear like they are right over the playing surface / event and they fucking nailed it. It's the same concept as the design of the bell center but approved upon. Normally I'd try for lower but my friend who is a structural engineer that does a lot of hockey arenas raved abot LCA so I gave it a shot and it delivered big time. Plus they have something like 15000 tvs throughout and the jumbotron is amazing.

The whole place (at least the cheap seats) were buzzing from the prelims and that fight just put it on full overdrive. Never seen so many drinks being spilled.

The head snap from the Ngannou fight turned the place into a rock concert. It was like the old wwf days when Austin music would hit -- that crowd pop.

Would like to add that Lecter has the psychotic distinction of actually believing the stupid things he pretended to troll about. A truly disturbed person.
