Not sure if it's been discussed yet but Ben Shapiro mentioned he did a podcast on Sam Harris' show and it should be coming out in the next few weeks. I'm interested in how odd that conversation will be considering Sam speaks very slow and pauses often while Ben is the exact opposite. Also, I think Sam likes to allow himself and the guest to talk on for a decent amount of time before the other replies while Ben likes a quicker back and forth. I think the whole thing may end up becoming fairly awkward in presentation.

It's been mentioned in a few threads. I think the debate (or talk, or whatever) was in front of a live audience and had a moderator. Should be interesting to hear Ben have a chat with someone at least as smart as him.

I bailed on Peterson/Harris 1 because it bogged down, and didn't listen to 2. Shapiro/Chunk I barely paid attention to. So, yup, this should be decent, and I'm looking forward to it.
 
Tis the season for police checkpoints. These scumbags. I'll just drive drunk the rest of the year. I take the big holidays off. lol.

2 was better but I honestly wasn't much interested in hearing them talk to begin with, especially after the first exchange began turning into something I expected. Peterson has a style that I think is almost bad for anyone to have a one on one with. It may just be because I don't entirely get him.

Pre-game early and then leave earlier with uber/lyft to avoid being raped with that fee multiplier. I've begun to enjoy the local dive bar by my place. I hardly spend anything there (I swear the place isn't profitable) and the bartender/staff are very kind to me cause I may be one of the few regulars who tips.

Yeah, he's better flying solo, or in an informal setting. Him and Weinstein on JRE is worth listening to.

I dig his stream of consciousness, monologueing style. It's almost an internal debate, that shows transparency, and takes rhe listener through his thought process. Then again I'm as interested in the "how" of things as much as the what or whys.

How is Uber? Never used it. They may be going public soon. IPO. Can buy shares. I want in on that.

It works good when you need a DD if you are smart about it and don't wait until everyone else is asking for one. Also, if you are sharing the ride with a few people, it's even cheaper.

Idk about investing. I mostly stick to mutual funds. They added a delivery service that's definitely a great addition to their app. I think too much of their success could rely on different regions ruling on whether their workers can be contractors, etc. I'm sure there's other things I'm not factoring in that adds value to them like their self driving car research/ tech. They have a bunch of those cars driving through pitt right now which I guess would eventually eliminate my first concern. Stocks are always something that I apply as much money to as I would gamble with for fights (though I wouldn't say that they are equivalents, I just do this to realize the risk I am taking on). Also, any stock I buy, I don't look at it's current price hardly ever cause it's companies I think will only grow more by the time I retire.

Both guys are annoying as fuck and think too highly of themselves. Should be ultra-cringeworthy. I can't wait.

Rip requested his ban after being repeatedly reply banned for posting sources deemed not legit. Currently there are threads entirely based on fake shit and rumors.

He never flamed anyone or threw out insults.

Although our standard for developing news events is higher, and there were specific warnings to that effect in the threads Rip was reply banned from.

There is an entire thread going on right now that is now basically proven to be fake. But oh well.

A poster in this thread stated posters in here support neo Nazis. But, Oh well.

Just admit you guys are biased. I mean everyone knows it. Kinda funny to see you guys try to act as if you are not.

Homer basically admits he went on a campaign to get Rip banned. And the Mods were gullible enough to fall for it
