But Biden was not a friend or relative of all these children. And friends and relatives can still inappropriately touch or assault kids. In fact, I'd say it is more common

Like I said, I'm only familiar with the above GIF from Sniper. I was under the impression that those were family friends. If not, yes, him going up to a stranger and doing that would definitely be actionable. Just like going up to a stranger and smacking their ass is.

According to you, if Joe or anyone else sexually assaults a child regularly and the child doesn't complain, it's considered consensual?

Good lord, you're pathetic. And just gross.

This is why when I'm down for da rahpeh, I'm hiring @Trotsky to get me off.

Now you're now arguing routine as a viable defense for sexual assault...against children no less? You are so not a lawyer, and are getting kind of creepy here.

According to you, if Joe or anyone else sexually assaults a child regularly and the child doesn't complain, it's considered consensual? Okay, Lawyer boy...

Jesus Christ.
Like I said, this was/is all about you trying to make a bad faith argument and failing badly at it. Which is when the "LOL"'s and the like come in.

Let's be real. It depends on the politics with him. Stranger dude PATS a grown woman on the ass is the end of the world. A powerful politician actually groping, sniffing and kissing a scared child is no big deal.

Good lord, you're pathetic. And just gross.

Pfft, yeah, I'm the gross one. Not you, the weirdo suggesting it's okay for Joe Biden to creepily fondle little children, as long the little children don't explicitly complain.

Okay bud...

I specifically decided against criminal defense because of those offenses. Way too gross and morally taxing.

One of my coworkers wife works big time in criminal defense. She now refuses to talk about her work as she says she'd rather leave the "work at work", but that wasn't the case before. I can only assume it's that bad. -.-

She didn't slap his face and tell him no. Therefore, Joe is allowed to fondle and kiss her all he wants. It is consensual.

I still remember a Lounge Lizard actually attacking the girl in that picture in a past thread. Saying she was an awkward looking girl and just did not know how to handle affection

Probably easier to cope with than family law. That must be traumatizing.

When I did my internship I did it at a criminal defense firm.

One of the attorneys went into private practice for himself after I left, then quit to teach, only to go back to being a lawyer but as a prosecutor in a different county. When I asked him why he stopped for basically 7 months:
"I got tired of being paid to represent pieces of shit that said their 9 year old niece came onto them and initiated the sex"

Divorce Court is also know as:
- He said she said Court
- Perjury Court

EDIT:
The shit people argue about in that courtroom and how they use their children as pawns in it disgusts me.

Everyone is different, obviously. I personally couldn't do it, but others can. And it's not just the victims: in many cases, the offenders are victims of abuse, are intellectually challenged, etc.

That's also why it's irksome when people give criminal defense attorneys grief for acting flippant or insensitive. For most, I'm sure, it's a necessary coping mechanism.

Yeah, there are trade-offs either way. At least in defense, you're taking an emotional hit for the rest of society in keeping our institutions strong. On the other hand, for prosecutorial work, you're often perpetrating inequities and narratives that you know to be false and railroading vulnerable and innocent people.

Also, being on the prosecution side is just as awful. You're still reviewing the same materials, meeting the same people, hearing the same stories, etc.

I've never worked in or even read about family law. It's completely foreign to me. But I would imagine there are a lot of ups to go with the downs.

Ok

Then it is time to charge Biden with multiple accounts of sexual assault on children. Since his touching of obviously scared children was much more sexual than an old dude patting(not grabbing or gropping) a grown woman. We should probably dig up elder Bushs bones and have a trial also.

You should make a thread on it
Dude, there are plenty of low hanging fruit to dislike Biden about without having to make reaches like this.

It sucks to have to live by the silly rules you set. But you made them.
I made the rules about sexual assault? I thought it was the law/morality but okay.

I don't think I could be a defense attorney unless it was as like a public defender and for the work they do they aren't paid in a way that is worth it.

Just depends on the work. You could be defending white collar criminals, or you could be that pudgy Jewish guy from The Wire.
