I was playing the keyboard and accidentally started playing the 7 nation army bassline. I felt accomplished and a complete failure simultaneously.

Yeah, Nate Silver and Jack V Savage have been very skeptical of Bloomberg's ability to become a major player in this race. They didn't grasp the scale of the operation Bloomberg is running here. In Jack's case, he underestimates the power of money in determining election outcomes.

I must say, the Bloomberg campaign has had a very impressive start. Damn good ad this weekend (I think it was during the nfl games). He's definitely got the means. If he can nail the message, watch out.

I love watching shuffle dancers that are good do their thing.

But my brain struggles to comprehend the amount of movement/spinning and how they don't get dizzy but also somehow don't move outside of that 5ft square they're in

I have that one as well. It was okay, but a little to deferential to the point of being anti-critical. To be clear, I think he was an asshole, a bigot, and a partisan hack. But he wasn't completely irredeemable like Thomas.
 
I don't get people who say women aren't funny, that's virgin talk imo. I'm not talking about stand-up comedians, just women in general.

I've been saying for a while he will make a difference in this race. He will end up spending more than all other campaigns combined. He has a solid brand as a detached technocrat with a track record of achievement who is richer than Trump and tickles the itch of those worried about the party "moving too far left". His ad buys will be placed strategically and the ads themselves well-produced.

He cannot win, but his RCP national average will exceed 7%. I offered Jack a bet on 6% yesterday. Jack said he was considering it, then the new Morning Consult poll came out and Bloomberg already hit 6% there.
