It feels like temperature dropped 50 degrees since I got into the office at 645 this morning

*shrug*

People like what they like.

For example, I might be the only motherfucker on the planet that wants a third one of these:

Why? Cause Zeus can't fucking die and having Neeson play Zeus and Fiennes play Hades was THE SHIT.

These movies should have been good, but werent. They shit all over the original and that is why everyone hates everything about these movies.

This is a weird story in my city

A 14 year old girl tied up a 58 year old man and beat him to death (he was found tied up naked)

She's being charged with murder 1 and apparently this guy was well liked because he was very active in animal rescue groups but a grown man getting overpowered by a 14 year old girl?

I'm getting Hard Candy vibes from this

I'm glad Scorcese bashed Marvel movies. They're just awful. Complete snooze fests.
Yeah I like how he's taken a dump on them. Sometimes I enjoy those films but even when I do I still feel like they can only be so good. They're so studio driven and focus tested that even when good it still feels like they're in a box. They rarely, if ever, challenge my expectations and for me the most memorable and impactful films are the ones that challenge my expectations.
King of the Hill for the motherfucking win.

Second favorite adult comedy behind Futurama.

I remember watching the first one in theaters, I enjoyed the crap out of it at the time and yet at the same time I was consciously aware that it was kind of a low tier popcorn flick. At that time I would watch a lot of cheesy movies with a specific friend of mine who liked that sort of thing and watching them with him made them more fun. We also saw Jennifer's Body which to this day has one of my all time favorite scenes

Yeah that's weird. He statutory raping her and she had enough? I assume the defense will likely be something around that angle, unless it comes out she's just batshit twisted psychopath that broke into his house to kill a person.

As for 14 year old girl overpowering 58 year old man, 50ish year old men are a wide array of capable. Some are the beer gut old man strength types that shock you. Others, may as well be frail 70+ year olds. Article says head wound and slashes to the chest. If she clocked him in the head unexpectedly with a baseball bat, I could see him dazed and out of it. Or cut him with the knife and through threatening and fear got him to assist in letting himself be tied up. People don't talk about the 3rd thing with fight or flight high pressure situations, some people just completely shut down.

Agreed on Futurama.

As to Marvel, I think how Netflix and Marvel split is what made some of the Netflix shows so good, especially the last season of Daredevil with their take on the Born Again storyline as well as how off the rails the violence got in Punisher.

Maybe he was into kinky stuff and got more than he bargained for. Or its possible she had a weapon and he complied with her orders thinking she just wanted to rob him. Honestly if she did this at 14 she's a lost cause as far as I am concerned. Throw her in a cage and don't let her out until she's at least 40.

She already lawyered up before she turned herself in. I dont know about this case, it seems pretty damn weird. The man also had cat tattoos, maybe he was into weird shit.

sharon stone did so well at her character, i hate her in real life. and i know nothing about her

This is really of no consequence unless they can prove Trump knew the source of the stuff coming from WikiLeaks. Not being snarky. Just verifying if the Trump-Russia link is established or not.
Sorry if this has already been asked and answered--I'm catching up on the thread--but is it known that Trump knew who was supplying WiliLeaks?
Gates testified that Stone called Trump and although he didn't hear the call afterwards Trump turned to him and said they're getting more dirt from wikileaks. It's really bad.

Such a great film that pulls me in almost every time its on, Ray Liotta's narration is just addicting to follow

Sharon Stone was so beautiful in that movie.

Same.

Fantastic job as Ginger, the woman who ruined everything Probably her 2nd best career performance.

i cant even watch her in anything else.

i remember when she had that flap about the chinese earthquake or something be karma and i was like "that's it, i have fucking had it with this cunt!"

Had it? probably the first public comment i've ever heard her say.

Just from experience. Seeing my grandfather have problems when he got older because of his height. He was 6'6 though and went through some aggressive chemo.

On a side note. Cannabis saved his life imo. Just wish he started taking it earlier in his chemo treatments
You don't think extremely short people might also have issues? It sounded like you were comparing merely short and extremely tall, a kind of a duhhh point, IMO.
